この考案は、真空加熱または高圧加熱調理を行
う煮炊釜の釜体上面に圧接させる釜蓋用パツキン

つた。第１図中、１は高圧釜の釜体、２は釜蓋で
あり、この釜蓋２の外周肉厚部２ａには耐熱性の
弾性材からなるパツキング３が嵌着されている。
このパツキング３は、釜蓋２の全周にわたる環状
に構成され、釜蓋２下面から突出する先端部下面
が断面凸弧状に形成されていた。このような釜蓋
用パツキング３は、高圧加熱調理を行なう釜蓋２
の閉時に、釜体１の上面フランジ１ａに、気密状
態を保つて圧接させることが必要である。しか
し、釜蓋２下面と釜体１の上面フランジ１ａとの
平行度が保ちにくいため、パツキング３下面の釜
体１上面フランジ１ａに対する圧接力に強弱が生
じ、従来のパツキング３は、釜体２下面から突出
した部分が弾性変形することのみで前記圧接力を
得ているので、長期間の使用によりパツキングが
老化し易く、気密性を保持できなくなる欠点があ
つた。とくに、大型の煮炊釜では釜体、釜蓋およ
びパツキングの円周が長いので、前述した欠点が
