As is well known, conventional electric fans are used mainly during the summer, and there is no need to mention the functions of these electric fans, which simply blow air using rotating blades.Additional functions include controlling the strength of the air. There was a function to adjust or swing the head as appropriate.

Since these electric fans are relatively lightweight, easy to carry and move, and are low in cost, they have become one of the popular electric appliances for a long time.

However, with the above-mentioned advantages, electric fans with a conventional structure that have become widely popular are capable of blowing cold or warm air according to the seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter, although the strength of the airflow can be controlled to a certain extent. There is nothing that has such a function,
It was a completely seasonal item.

In other words, there is no problem if you can install a room cooler in the summer and a room heater in the winter for cooling only, heating only, or for both heating and cooling, but these devices are generally expensive. Not only that, but the installation work was also extensive, and it is no exaggeration to say that once installed, it is usually impossible to move it from the installation location to another location.

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention was devised for the purpose of realizing an electric fan that can selectively use cold air or warm air by a simple switching operation. The base of the electric fan body includes a pair of heat exchangers, one of which acts as a heat sink while the other acts as a heat sink.
and a set of expansion valves that act as heat sinks corresponding to each of the heat exchangers, and the set of heat exchangers and the set of expansion valves are arranged in a symmetrical circuit around the compressor. One of the heat exchangers is installed in the back direction of the rotary blade portion in the form of a pipe with fins for heat dissipation, and the heat pump mechanism is equipped with a heat exchanger that has heat radiating fins in the back direction of the rotary blade. This can be achieved by the electric fan of the present invention, which is equipped with a path switching mechanism that selectively operates one of the pair of expansion valves by appropriately reversing the circulation direction of the refrigerant circulating through the air.

In the electric fan of the present invention, when the refrigerant compressed and sent out from the compressor first passes through the expansion valve and flows in a vaporized state to the heat exchanger located in the rotary blade portion by switching the path switching mechanism, the refrigerant is compressed and sent out from the rotary blade. The heat exchanger located at the bottom acts as a heat absorber and exerts a cooling effect. On the other hand, if the path switching mechanism is operated again so that the refrigerant compressed and sent out from the compressor first flows to the heat exchanger located in the rotating blade part,
The heat exchanger located in the rotating blade portion functions as a radiator and exerts a thermal effect.

In FIG. 1, 1 is the electric fan of the present invention,
It consists of the basic components of a blade part 2, a swinging part 3, and a telescoping shaft 4 that connects the swinging part 3 and a base part 5. A heat pump mechanism P shown in is housed therein. This heat pump mechanism P includes a set of heat exchangers E and E', a set of expansion valves B and B', a set of check valves R and R', a refrigerant tank T, and a path switching mechanism (four-way switching valve). ) S are arranged symmetrically around the compressor C, and one of the heat exchangers E and E' (E in this embodiment) is connected to the flexible pipe 6.
The heat exchanger 7 is provided with heat radiating fins 7a in the back direction of the blade portion 2 in FIG.

That is, in FIG. 2, the refrigerant compressed and sent out from the compressor C is first passed through the expansion valve B by the switching operation of the path switching mechanism S (the state shown in the figure), and is then transferred to the heat exchanger located in the vane portion 2 in a vaporized state. When the air flows to the vessel E7, the heat exchanger E acts as a heat absorber and cools the air in the direction behind the blade portion 2. Incidentally, at this time, the heat exchanger E' acts as a radiator.

On the other hand, if the path switching mechanism S is operated again so that the refrigerant compressed and sent out from the compressor C first flows to the heat exchanger E located in the blade section 2, as shown in FIG. The exchanger E functions as a radiator and warms the air in the direction behind the blade portion 2.
Incidentally, at this time, the heat exchanger E' acts as a heat absorber.

Therefore, according to the present invention, since the fan body has a function of blowing cold air and warm air using a heat pump mechanism, it is smaller and more portable than dedicated units for cooling and heating. It can be manufactured at a relatively low cost, and therefore can be carried freely into any room that requires cooling or heating, and is economically inefficient, such as having to permanently install an expensive dedicated machine in the room. No special work is required,
Furthermore, since the heat exchanger is placed toward the back of the blade, the cold or warm air is sufficiently agitated by the rotation of the blade, and the blade itself is also cooled or sonically heated, making the diffusion of cold or warm air more efficient. In addition, it has become possible to provide an extremely safe electric fan that can freely blow cold or warm air, which is excellent in practical use, without worrying about fire outbreaks even during heating.
