Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ［産業上の利用分野］ 本発明は緊急時の車両乗員保護用シートベルト装置に用
いられ、乗員拘束用ウェビングを装着する場合に用いる
バックル装置に関する。
［背景技術及び解決すべき事項］ シートベルト装置では、乗員がウェビングを装着する場
合にウェビングの端部に設けられたタングプレートをバ
ックル装置へ係合させるようになっている。
このバックル装置では一般的に金属製板材がコ字状に屈
曲されてバックルボディを形成しており、タングプレー
トはこのバックルボディ内へ挿入され、バックルボディ
内に配置されるロックプレートがこのタングプレートと
係合してタングプレートの抜出しを阻止する構成となっ
ている。
従ってこの構造のバックル装置ではバックルボディを比
較的大きな肉厚とする必要があり、重量が増加する原因
となる。またこの構造のバックル装置は、１枚のタング
プレートのみを保合可能とする構造となっており、４点
式シートベルト装置、子供乗員用拘束装置等の如く、２
枚のタングプレートを同時に係合させる必要のあるバッ
クル装置には適用が困難である。
本発明は上記事実を考慮し、軽量かつ小型であり、複数
枚のタングプレートの挿入にも対処することが可能なバ
ックル装置を得ることが目的である゛。
［発明の概要及び作用］ 本発明に係るバックル装置では、対向して配置されこれ
らの１間にタングプレートが挿入される一対のバックル
ボディを備え、これらのバックルボディには一方に形成
される保合突起が他方に形成される係合凹部へ入り込ん
で両バックルボディ間の寸法を規制する保持手段が少な
くとも３個所に設けられるようになっている。
従って本発明に係るバックル装置では一対のバックルボ
ディが保持手段により両者の相対寸法を規制されており
、タングプレートの抜出し力に対して大きな抵抗力を有
するので全体として小型かつ軽量とすることができ、一
対のバックルボディへ複数個のタングプレートを取付け
ればバックルボディ間へ異る方向から挿入される複数個
のタングプレートに対処できるようになっている。
［実施例の構成］ 第１図から第３図には本発明が子供乗員拘束用のシート
ベルトに適用された実施例が示され、本実施例に係るバ
ックル装置では、一対のバックルボディ１０．１２が薄
肉板材から形成されている。これらのバックルボディ１
０，１２は互いに同形状であり、一方が他方に対して裏
返した状態で組付けられるようになっている。
これらのバックルボディ１０．１２は一端部に保合突起
１４、及びこれに隣接した屈曲片１６に形成される係合
凹部１８が第１保持手段としての役目を有している。即
ちバックルボディ１０．１２の端部及び屈曲片１６にか
けて形成゛さ、れる係合凹部１８は、他方のバックルボ
ディの係合突起１４を受は入れてバックルボディ１０，
１２が互いに離間する方向の移動を規制するようになっ
ている。
またバックルボディ１Ｏ１１２の一側部には保合突起２
０が、他の一側部に形成される屈曲片２２には係合凹部
２４が設けられ、それぞれ第２、第３の保持手段を形成
している。即ちバックルボディｌＯに形成される保合突
起２０はバックルボディ１２に形成される係合凹部２４
へ入り込んで第２の保持手段を形成し、バックルボディ
１２に形成される係合突起２０はバックルボディｌＯに
形成される係合凹部２４へ入り込んで第３の保持手段を
形成している。これらの第２、第３の保持手段は係合突
起２０が係合凹部２４によってバックルボディ１０．１
２の肉厚方向の移動が拘束されるようになっている。
このように係合突起１４が係合凹部１８に入り込んだ状
態及び係合突起２０が係合凹部２４へ入り込んだ状態で
は第５図及び第６図に示される如くバックルボディ１０
．１２は所定寸法だけ離間して保持され、これらの間に
タングプレート２６．２８を挿入できるようになってい
る。このタングプレート２６．２８には乗員拘束用ウェ
ビング３０．３２がそれぞれ係止され、これらのウェビ
ング３０．３２の他端は図示しない子供乗員拘束装置本
体へ係止されるようになっている。
バックルボディ１Ｏ１１２には一端部に互いに接近する
方向に屈曲されて密着する延長片３４がそれぞれ形成さ
れており、この延長片３４には長孔３６が穿設されてク
ロッチウェビング３８の一端が、係止されるようになっ
ている。このクロッチウェビング３８の他端は図示しな
い子供乗員拘束装置本体へ係止され、クロッチウェビン
グ３８が子供乗員の股間へ配置されるようになっている
。
バックルボディ１０．１２にはタングプレート２６．２
８の挿入方向（矢印Ａ、Ｂ方向）に対応してそれぞれロ
ックプレート収容孔４０．４２が穿設されでいる。これ
らのロックブレニド収容孔４０．４２にはその周縁にロ
ックプレート４８．５０が軸支されるようになっている
。
即ちロックプレート４８．５０は第３図に明瞭に示され
る如く両側部から直角に屈曲され互いに平行に延長され
る屈曲片４８Ａ、５０Ａが形成されており、これらの屈
曲片４８Ａ、５０Ａに設けられる凹溝５２にロックプレ
ート収容孔４０．４２の周縁が挿入され、さらにロック
プレート前縁４８Ｃ，５０Ｃが他方のロックプレート収
容孔４０．４２の周縁に当接することにより、ロックプ
レート４８．５０はこのロックプレート収容孔４０．４
２の周縁を中心として矢印Ｃ方向に揺動可能となってい
る・ これらのロックプレー１・４８．５０には切起し爪５４
がそれぞれ形成されており、屈曲片４８Ａ聞及び屈曲片
５０Ａ間へ挿入されるタングプレート２６．２８の係合
開口２６Ａ、２８Ａとの係合用となっている。係合した
タングプレート２６゜２８は屈曲片４８Ａ、５０Ａによ
って横方向への移動が拘束されているので、車両緊急時
にタングプレート２６．２８へこじり力が作用しても係
合状態が確実に維持される。従って、ウェビング３０．
３２へ単純な引張力以外の力が加わり易い、子供乗員用
拘束装置に適した構造となっている。
バックルボディ１０．１２の外側へ被覆されるロアカバ
ー５６及びアッパカバー５８は互いに連結されてバック
ルボディ１０．１２へのダスト侵入を阻止している。ロ
アカバー５６には第６図に示される如くロックプレート
４８．５０との間に圧縮コイルばね６０がそれぞれ介在
されており、ロックプレート４８．５０を挿入されるタ
ングプレート２６．２８と係合する方向に付勢している
。
バックルボディ１０．１２には係合突起１４゜係合凹部
１８付近に一対の矩形孔６２が穿設されており、ブツシ
ュボタン６４のアーム６６が挿入され、ブツシュボタン
６４を軸支するようになっている。このブツシュボタン
６４とバックルボディ１２どの間には圧縮コイルばね６
８が介在され、ブツシュボタン６４を比較的大きな力で
アッパカバー５８へ押圧している。アッパカバー５８に
形成される開口５９はブツシュボタン６４の押圧用とさ
れる。このブツシュボタン６４はロックプレート４８．
５０の端部から突出される突起４８Ｂ及び突起５０Ｂが
当接しており、これによって圧縮コイルばね６０の付勢
力を受け、アッパカバー５８へと押圧されている。従っ
て圧縮コイルばね６８を省略することもできるが、圧縮
コイルばね６８を設けることによりブツシュボタン６４
の操作力が比較的大きくなり、子供乗員が不用意にこの
ブツシュボタン６４を押圧した場合にも、ロックプレー
ト４８．５０を作動させることができないようになって
いる。
［実施例の組付手順］ 第７図には本実施例の組付手順が示されており、最初に
第７図ＣＢ）に示される如くバックルボディ１Ｏ１１２
を平行状態から約１５°程度開いた状態に保持し、かつ
第７図（Ａ）に示される如くバックルボディ１０．１２
の中心線Ｐ、Ｑを約３００はど開いた状態にする。ここ
で係合突起１４を係合凹部１８へ挿入しつつ中心線Ｑを
中心線Ｐに合致させれば係合突起１４は係合凹部１８内
へ挿入される。
第７図（Ｃ）に示される如く中心線Ｑを約５゜程度通り
過ぎた状態とすれば、係合突起２０が屈曲片２２を通過
する。ここで第７図ＣＤ）に示される如くバックルボデ
ィ１０，１２を互いに平行状態にして延長片３４を互い
に合致させると共に第７図（Ｅ）に示される如くバック
ルボディ１０を戻して中心線Ｐ、Ｑを合致させれば保合
突起２０は係合凹部２４内へ挿入され、これによって係
合突起１４、係合凹部１８及び係合突起２０、係合凹部
２４がバックルボディ１０．１２の間隔を規制する保持
手段としての役目を有するようになる。
ロックプレート４８．５０は屈曲片４８Ａ、５０Ａの凹
溝５２をロックプレート収容孔４０．４２の周縁へ当接
させ、ブツシュボタン６４はアーム６６を矩形孔６２へ
当接させる。これらのロックプレート４８．５０及びブ
ツシュボタン６４は圧縮コイルばね６０．６８を介在さ
せてロアカバー５６、アッパカバー５８を取付ければ取
付けが完了する。
このように本実施例ではバックルボディ１０゜１２が同
一形状であるため異る形状のバックルボディを作る必要
がなく、製作が簡単であり、組付も容易となっている。
［実施例の作用］ タングプレート２６．２８は矢印Ａ、Ｂ方向にバッグル
ポデイ１Ｏ１１２内へ挿入すれば、保合開口２６Ａ、２
８Ａへは圧縮コイルばね６０の付勢力で切起し爪５４が
それぞれ係合するのでタンクプレート２６．２８はそれ
ぞれバックル装置への係合状態となる。
車両緊急時にウェビング３０．３２へ大きす張力が発生
した場合にも、タングプレート２６．２８はロックプレ
ート４８．５０、バックルボディ１０．１２及びクロッ
チウェビング３８を介して確実に図示しない子供乗員拘
束装置本体へ支持される。
またウェビング３０．３２の装着を解除する場合には、
ブツシュボタン６４を圧縮コイルばね６８及び圧縮コイ
ルばね６０の付勢力に抗して押圧すれば、ブツシュボタ
ン６４は共にロックプレート４８．５０をロックプレー
ト収容孔４０．４２の周縁部を中心として回転させるた
め、切起し爪５４は係合開口２６Ａ、２６Ａから抜は出
し、タングプレート２６．２８がバックルボディ１Ｏ１
１２間から抜出し可能となる。
なお上記実施例ではバックルボディ１０．１２の間隔を
規制する保持手段をバックルボディ１Ｏ１１２の周縁部
に３個所設けた構造を示したが、保持手段の形状及び構
造は上記に叱らず、また保持手段の数も４個以上設ける
ことができる。
［発明の効果］ 以上説明した如く本発明に係るバックル装置では、対向
して配置されこれらの間にタングプレートが挿入される
一対のバックルボディを備え、これらのバックルボディ
には一方に形成される保合突起が他方に形成される係合
凹部へ入り込んで両バックルボディ間の寸法を規制する
保持手段が少なくとも３個所に設けられるので、バック
ル装置が軽量かつ小型になり、複数枚のタングプレート
の挿入にも容易に対処することが゛できる優れた効果を
有する。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）対向して配置されこれらの間にタングプレートが
    挿入される一対のバックルボディを備え、これらのバッ
    クルボディには一方のバックルボディに形成される係合
    突起が他方のバツクルボデイに形成される係合凹部へ入
    り込んで両バックルボディ間の寸法を規制する保持手段
    が少なくとも３個所に設けられることを特徴としたバッ
    クル装置。
