A conventional refrigerator-freezer of this kind, for example, as shown in FIG.
At the same time, a sliding door 44 is provided at the front opening of the refrigerator compartment 43 to open and close the opening, and a sloping door 44 is provided in the upper part of the freezer compartment 45 that projects diagonally forward from the front end of the partition 46. It is known that a projecting portion 47 is formed and a sliding door 48 made of paired glass is provided on this projecting portion 47.

The reason for forming the projecting portion 47 here is to install a refrigerating machine in a store and sell food and medicine stored inside the freezer compartment 45, and also to place the sliding door 48 on the upper side of the freezer compartment 45. The reason for this is that the sliding door 48 can be opened and closed with heavy air (cold air) accumulated in the lower part of the freezer compartment 45, and the cold air will not escape when the sliding door 48 is opened.

The conventional refrigerator-freezer structure has the following drawbacks. That is, as shown by arrow a in FIG. 4, light, especially ultraviolet light, enters the freezer compartment 45 through the sliding door 48, which not only damages the food in the compartment 45, but also causes a heat load due to the incident light. Furthermore, the passageway becomes narrow due to the formation of the projecting portion 47, and the presence of the projecting portion 47 makes it cumbersome to take items in and out of the frequently used refrigerator compartment 43, making it inconvenient to use. It was hot.

Therefore, the present invention provides a refrigerating housing at the upper part of the refrigerating housing through a space for taking out articles, and a condensing unit at the lower part of the refrigerating housing, and integrates these housings and condensing units. By making the depths of the housing and the condensing unit equal to each other to eliminate protrusion, and by attaching a sliding door with a pair of glasses to the front side of the refrigerating housing and the top side of the freezing housing, This makes it difficult for light (particularly ultraviolet rays) to enter the freezer, and as a result, it is possible to prevent the items inside the freezer from being damaged by ultraviolet rays, and also to prevent an increase in heat load due to the incidence of light. By eliminating tension,
It is easy to take items in and out of the upper refrigerator compartment, and when the refrigerating machine is installed in a store, etc., it does not obstruct the aisle. To provide a refrigerator/freezer that is suitable for temporarily placing articles on a sliding door above a freezer compartment.

In addition, a sterilizing lamp 12 is attached to the upper part of the refrigerator housing 1, and a convection guide plate 13 that also serves as a protective cover is installed in front of the cooling coil 3 in the refrigerator compartment 2, so that the air from the agitator 14 is directed to the convection. Air is blown into the refrigerator compartment 2 through the opening 13a at the top of the guide plate 13, and a cold air circulation path is formed in which the air is guided to the cooling coil 3 from the opening 13b at the lower end of the convection guide plate 13, thereby stirring the air in the refrigerator compartment 2. , which has come to enhance the cooling effect.

On the other hand, a sliding door 16 is horizontally attached to the upper opening of the refrigeration housing 5 to open and close the opening. Like the sliding door 9, this sliding door 16 also has a pair of glasses 17, 17 supported by a door frame (not shown) so as to be openable and closable. When taking items in and out, the items can be temporarily placed on the sliding door 16, which is extremely convenient for use.

Next, the configuration of the refrigerant circuit will be described with reference to FIG. The compressor 18 on the refrigeration side, the refrigeration condenser 20, the expansion mechanism 24, and the cooling coil 3 for the refrigerator compartment are connected in this order by refrigerant piping to constitute a circulating refrigerant circuit for cooling the refrigerator compartment 2. , the compressor 19 on the refrigeration side, the refrigeration condenser 21 and the expansion mechanism 2
5 and a cooling coil 7 for the freezer compartment are connected in this order through refrigerant piping to constitute a circulating refrigerant circuit for cooling the freezer compartment 6.

Now, when one of the compressors 18 is driven, the gas refrigerant compressed by the compressor 18 to a high temperature and high pressure enters the refrigeration condenser 20 as shown by the arrow in FIG.
Here, the liquefied thermal refrigerant exchanges heat with the outside air and liquefies, and the liquefied thermal refrigerant reaches the expansion mechanism 24, where it is adiabatically expanded and becomes low pressure. The heat is removed to cool the refrigerator compartment 2 to, for example, 0 to 10°C, and the refrigerant itself is vaporized to become a gas refrigerant, which is sucked into the compressor 18 again.

Similarly, when the other compressor 19 is driven, the gas refrigerant compressed by the compressor 19 to a high temperature and high pressure enters the refrigeration condenser 21 as shown by the arrow in FIG. 3, where it exchanges heat with the outside air. The liquefied liquid refrigerant reaches the expansion mechanism 25, where the liquid refrigerant that has been adiabatically expanded and has a low pressure is sent to the cooling coil 7 for the freezer compartment.
The refrigerant cools the freezer compartment 6 to, for example, -20° C. or lower by removing the heat within the freezer compartment 6. The refrigerant itself vaporizes to become a gas refrigerant and is sucked into the compressor 19 again.

Here, in order to take items in and out of the refrigerator compartment 2, the sliding door 9 provided with the pair of glasses 10, 10 is opened in the left and right direction. Store items such as foods and medicines through the sliding door 1 above the freezer compartment 6.
It is extremely effective in use because it can be temporarily placed on top of the refrigerator compartment 6 to perform the above operations, and moreover, the loading and unloading of articles into the refrigerator compartment 2 is used more frequently than the loading and unloading of articles into the freezer compartment 6. However, since there is no protrusion, such work can be done extremely easily, and it is easy to use.

In addition, since there is no protrusion, the passageway is not obstructed, and the sliding door on the refrigerator side
Reference numeral 6 is installed on the top side of the freezer housing 5, in other words, directly under the bottom partition 1e of the refrigerator housing 1, and is located in a position where it is difficult for light to enter the freezer compartment 6. The amount of light (particularly ultraviolet rays) incident on the freezer compartment 6 can be suppressed to an extremely small amount, and as a result, it is possible to prevent the items in the freezer compartment 6 from being damaged by ultraviolet rays, and also to reduce the amount of heat caused by the incident light. This makes it possible to prevent the load from increasing.

A cooling coil 7 for the freezer compartment 6 is installed in the freezer housing 5, and a condensing unit 8 having the same depth as the freezer housing 5 is provided directly below the freezer housing 5. 5 and condensing unit 8 are integrated, and a pair of glasses 1 are provided on the front side of the refrigerating housing 1 and the upper surface side of the freezing housing 5.
Since the sliding doors 9 and 16 are equipped with sliding doors 9 and 16, respectively, it is difficult for light to enter the freezer compartment 6, and as a result, the items in the freezer compartment 6 are not damaged by ultraviolet rays. This has the effect of preventing the heat load from increasing due to the incidence of light.
