[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention relates to slats constituting the shutter curtain of a lightweight shutter, and more specifically, even if the slats are formed from a thin metal strip, the strength in the longitudinal direction and vertical direction of the slats can be maintained sufficiently. This invention relates to a completely new lightweight shutter slat that can be held to ensure smooth opening and closing of the shutter at all times.

However, if the slat is formed from a thin metal strip in order to make it lightweight, the strength of the part sandwiched between the interlock parts formed on both the upper and lower edges becomes weaker, and the shutter does not move when the shutter is opened or closed. Each slat that makes up the curtain is twisted in the longitudinal direction due to the sliding resistance received from the guide rail, or curved in the vertical direction due to the winding and unwinding load, causing the shutter to lose its opening/closing balance. There was a drawback that the opening/closing operation was not smooth and eventually it became impossible to open/close. For this reason,
By forming the slats that make up the shutter curtain using thin metal strips, it is possible to reduce the weight of the shutter, but it also prevents the slats from twisting in the longitudinal direction and curving in the vertical direction when the shutter opens and closes. There has been a strong demand in this type of industry and among consumers for a slat that can prevent the shutter from opening and closing smoothly at all times.

In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, this invention was created based on a completely new concept in order to meet the strong demands of the industry and users. In the slat of a lightweight shutter, which is guided up and down by a guide rail that opens and closes an opening, there are interlocking sections parallel to the longitudinal direction of the slat in the vicinity of the interlocking sections formed on both the upper and lower edges of the slat. A sliding contact portion with the guide rail is formed facing the outdoor side of the lock portion, and a planar recessed portion facing the indoor side of the contact portion is integrally formed between the contact portions. However, by forming a discontinuous uneven surface having a surface area in the vertical direction without being continuous in the longitudinal direction, the opening/closing operation of the shutter is prevented even if the slat is formed of a thin metal strip. By supporting the sliding resistance received from the guide rail at the time of the winding, it is possible to prevent the slat from twisting or deforming in the longitudinal direction while preventing it from spreading to the planar recess. The vertical curvature and distortion of the slat caused by receiving the unwinding load can be permanently avoided by the uneven surface formed in the planar recess, and the above-mentioned sliding contact portion and By working together with the planar recess, it is possible to form the slat with a thin metal strip, reducing the weight of the shutter. We have created a lightweight shutter slat that allows the shutter to open and close smoothly and easily at all times. It is on offer.

The structure of the present invention will be explained with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawings. 1 is a slat that constitutes a shutter curtain A that is guided up and down along a guide rail installed in an opening of a building, etc.; , the slat 1 is formed from a thin metal strip, and has interlock portions 1a, 1b formed on both upper and lower edges of the slat 1, respectively.
Sliding contact portions 4, 4 facing the outdoor side of the guide rail from 1b are formed parallel to the longitudinal direction. A planar recess 2 is integrally formed between the abutting portions 4, 4 and facing toward the indoor side of the abutting portions 4, 4.

3 is an uneven surface formed by embossing on the planar recess 2, and as shown in FIG. 1, the uneven surface is not continuous in the longitudinal direction but has an area in the vertical direction. It is formed on a discontinuous uneven surface. A shutter curtain A is constructed by vertically connecting a plurality of slats 1 formed as described above via their interlock portions 1a and 1b.

The shutter curtain A is opened and closed by moving up and down along guide rails erected on both sides of the opening via a winding mechanism. is subjected to sliding resistance and winding and unwinding loads from the guide rail, and in the closed state, the lower slat 1
is subjected to the load of the upper slat 1, so if the slats 1 are formed from thin metal strips, each slat 1 will twist in the longitudinal direction or curve in the vertical direction, inducing retrograde deformation. It will be rolled up and opened and closed in this state. For this reason, in the past, the opening/closing balance of the shutter was disrupted, and alignment with the guide rail was impaired, resulting in the shutter not being able to be opened/closing smoothly, or often being unable to open/close. In addition, when in the closed position, the shutter could not be locked properly due to misalignment with the guide rail, and the shutter lacked the original functions of closing and security.

However, the slat 1 in the present invention is
Interlock 1 as shown in Figures and Figure 2.
Sliding contact portions 4 to the guide rails are formed in parallel to the longitudinal direction of the slat 1, facing outdoors rather than the interlocks 1a and 1b, respectively, in the vicinity of the interlocks 1a and 1b. A planar recess 2 is formed in the area sandwiched between the sliding contact parts 4 and 4 facing the indoor side, and the planar recess 2 has a surface area in the vertical direction without being continuous in the longitudinal direction. Since the discontinuous uneven surface is formed, even if the slat 1 is made of a thin metal strip, the sliding resistance received from the guide rail when the shutter is opened and closed is reduced by forming the slat 1 vertically parallel to the longitudinal direction. By supporting the slats 1 with the sliding contact parts 4, 4, twisting and deformation in the longitudinal direction of the slat 1 is prevented while preventing the spread to the planar recess, and the strength of the slat 1 in the vertical direction is also increased. Specifically, the planar recess 2 formed in the area sandwiched between the sliding contact parts 4, 4 is made into a discontinuous uneven surface having a surface area in the vertical direction without being continuous in the longitudinal direction. Therefore, even if the shutter curtain A is subjected to winding and unwinding loads during opening/closing operations, the planar recess 2 is not affected in any way, and the upper and lower parts of the slat 1 are Curving and distortion in the direction are permanently avoided, allowing the shutter to open and close smoothly and easily at all times. In addition, since the shutter opens and closes smoothly and easily, alignment with the guide rail is maintained when the shutter is in the closed position, making it possible to lock the shutter accurately. When dust is collected, the original functions of the shutter, such as closure and security, can be ensured, and the reliability of the shutter can be significantly improved.

In summary, the present invention provides a slat for a lightweight shutter that opens and closes an opening by being guided up and down by a guide rail installed in an opening in a building, etc., in the vicinity of the interlock part formed on both the upper and lower edges of the slat. A sliding abutment part for the guide rail is formed in each part parallel to the longitudinal direction of the slat and facing the outdoor side than the interlock part, and a contact part is formed between the abutment parts. A planar recess is integrally formed so as to face the indoor side of the recess, and a discontinuous uneven surface having a surface area in the vertical direction without being continuous in the longitudinal direction is formed in the planar recess.
Even if the slat is made of a thin metal strip, the sliding resistance received from the guide rail when the shutter is opened/closed can be supported by the sliding abutment to prevent the slat from twisting or deforming in the longitudinal direction. The vertical curvature and distortion of the slat, which conventionally occurred due to winding and unwinding loads, can be permanently avoided by the uneven surface formed in the planar recess. In addition to reducing the weight of the shutter, this provides an extremely useful new effect that allows the shutter to always open and close smoothly and easily.
