The so-called walking beam method is widely used as a transportation method for continuous heating furnaces for steel materials. In this method, a skid button is installed on the top surface of the skid to prevent heat from being taken away from the steel material by the skid pipe with cooling water flowing inside. The skid button is provided to support the steel material through the skid button. Conventionally, many skid buttons of this type are made of heat-resistant alloys, but since these metal buttons have high thermal conductivity (7 to 17 Kcal/mh℃), the water cooling effect of the skid pipe directly affects the steel material. There is a problem in that the heat is transmitted and causes skid marks, and the heat source of the steel material and the atmosphere in the furnace is lost. For this reason, ceramic skid buttons have recently come into use. This kind of skid button has almost the same thermal conductivity as the one made of the above alloy, but its withstand temperature is better than that of metal, so it can be installed on the saddle on the skid pipe through an insulating material. This has the advantage that the effect of water cooling in the skid pipe is not directly transmitted to the steel material due to the above-mentioned heat insulating material. FIG. 1 shows an example of such a skid button, where 2 is a saddle provided on the skid pipe 1, 3 is a button body made of ceramic,
4 is a heat insulating member provided between the button body 3 and the saddle 2, and 10 is a steel piece supported by the skid button. In such a skid button, a fibrous fireproof heat insulating material 5 is interposed between the button body 3 and the saddle 2 or the heat insulating member 4, between the saddle 2 and the heat insulating member 4, etc. for the purpose of heat insulation and buffering. However,
This fibrous fireproof insulation material 5 is compressed during operation of the walking beam, so it gradually deteriorates and disappears outside the skid button. Steel scale enters the gap created by this, and the original insulation effect is reduced. The problem is that the desired effect cannot be expected at all.

The present invention was devised in view of these conventional difficulties, and aims to provide a skidded button that maintains proper insulation and cushioning effects between the button body and the saddle. In this case, a plurality of fillers are laminated and filled with a fibrous fireproof heat insulating material surrounded by a heat insulating thin steel plate and formed into a plate shape, either alone or together with other heat insulating materials.

2 and 3 show an embodiment of the present invention. In the skid button of the present invention, a filling member 6 for the purpose of heat insulation and buffering is stacked and filled between the button body 3 and the saddle 2, either alone or together with other heat insulating members. In this embodiment, a heat insulating member 7 as shown in FIG. 1 is interposed between the lower surface of the button body 3 and the bottom surface of the saddle 2 together with the filling member 6.

As shown in FIG. 4, the filling member 6 is composed of a fibrous fireproof insulation material 8 and a heat-resistant thin steel plate 9 that is bent to surround the fibrous fireproof insulation material 8 in a band shape.
It is configured in a plate shape, and a plurality of such filling members 6 are stacked and filled between the button body 3 and the saddle 2. Specifically, between the side of the button body 3 and the side of the saddle 2, and since the heat insulating member 7 is provided, between the heat insulating member 7 and the bottom surface of the button body 3, between the heat insulating member 7 and the bottom surface of the saddle 2, and even between the heat insulating member 7 and the bottom surface of the saddle 2. A plurality of the heat insulating members 7 and the side wall of the saddle 2 are filled in a stacked manner.

The heat-resistant thin steel plate 9 preferably has a rough surface in order to reduce thermal conductivity, and for example, a steel plate having irregularities such as slits formed on the surface can be used. Additionally, fibrous refractory insulation is usually

In this embodiment, another heat insulating member 7 is provided together with the filling member 6 between the bottom surface of the button body 3 and the bottom surface of the saddle 2. However, for example, this heat insulating member 7 may not be provided and a large number of filling members 6 may be laminated. A new structure can be adopted.

Note that even if a plurality of heat-resistant thin steel plates 9 are stacked and filled instead of the above-mentioned filling member, a certain degree of heat insulation and buffering effect can be expected. In this case as well, it is preferable that the heat-resistant thin steel plate has a rough surface texture, as described above.

In the skid button having the above structure, in addition to the heat insulating effect of the fibrous fireproof heat insulating material 8 inside the filling member 6, the air layer formed between the plurality of stacked filling members 6 and between these and each member is effective. Since a heat shielding effect is obtained, a good heat insulation effect is obtained as a whole, and a good buffering effect is obtained due to the elastic deformation of the fibrous fireproof heat insulating material 8 and the heat-resistant thin steel plate 9 surrounding it. In addition, even if the button body 3 is displaced within the saddle due to an external force during operation and the filling member 6 is compressed as a result, the elastically deformed thin steel plate 9 returns to its original state after the external force is removed, so the filling member 6 The fibrous fireproof heat insulating material 8 inside is also released from the compressed state, and therefore its disappearance due to deterioration can be appropriately prevented.

According to the skid button of the present invention described above,
The insulation and buffering effect between the button body and the saddle is maintained appropriately, and as a result, the life of the skid button itself can be improved, and
This has the advantage of effectively preventing the occurrence of skid marks and heat dissipation from the skid pipe.
