Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiency melt solid paraffin within a short time, by providing a means for heating solid paraffin and a means for guiding molten paraffin from a paraffin mount part to a paraffin receiving part. CONSTITUTION:Solid paraffin 4 is placed on a mount plate 2 as shown by the broken line and a heater 5 and a temp. holding heater 8 are turned ON. When the heater 5 is turned ON, paraffin 4 begins to melt from its lower surface contacted with the mount plate 2 and molten paraffin is flowed by the inclination of the mount plate 2 and flowed down to a receiving cup 7 through a disicharge passage 6 to be stored therein. At this time, the temp. holding heater 8 has been turned ON and molten paraffin is stored without being solidified. By this method, paraffin inferior to heat conductivity is brought to a molten state and flows simultaneously with melting and the heat of the heater 5 is efficiently conducted to solid paraffin.

By turning on this heater 22, the solid paraffin 23 placed in the melting tank 21 is melted. At this time, when the solid paraffin 23 melts from the outside to some extent, the unmelted solid paraffin becomes molten paraffin as shown in the figure. It will be in a floating state approximately in the center of. In such a state, the heat conductivity of the molten paraffin is extremely poor, making it difficult for the heat from the heater to reach the solid paraffin. Therefore, there is a problem in that it takes a long time and a large amount of thermal energy to completely melt the solid paraffin.

In order to solve this problem, a paraffin melting apparatus has been proposed in which a protrusion 34 is provided at the center of a melting tank 31 and a heater 32 is also disposed within this protrusion, as shown in FIG. However, even with such a device, once the paraffin 33 melts to a certain extent, a ring-shaped solid portion remains.
It took a long time to completely melt, and the thermal efficiency was also poor.

The mounting plate 2 is made of a material with good thermal conductivity, such as metal or heat-resistant plastic, and a heating means configured as a heater 5 is provided at the bottom of the mounting plate 2. Further, in this example, a groove-shaped discharge passage 6 is formed in the stopper plate 3 at approximately the center thereof, and this discharge passage constitutes a means for guiding the molten paraffin to a storage portion to be described later.

When the heater 5 is turned on, the paraffin 4 starts to melt from the bottom surface that is in contact with the mounting plate 2, and the melted rough-in flows due to the slope of the mounting plate 2.Then, the paraffin 4 is melted from the bottom surface that is in contact with the mounting plate 2. The molten paraffin flows down and is stored therein. At this time, because the heat-retaining heater 8 is turned on, the molten paraffin is stored without solidifying.

In this way, the solid paraffin 4 is melted by the paraffin melting device according to the present invention, but in this case, the paraffin, which has poor thermal conductivity in the molten state, is melted and flowed at the same time, so that the heat from the heater 5 is efficiently transmitted to the solid paraffin 4. . Therefore, the solid rough-in 4 can be completely melted in a short time and with a small amount of thermal energy.
