Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize the quality of printing by supplying liquid ink constantly to the tip of wires all the time by a method in which a V-shaped slit is provided in the surface of a guide on the tip of wire, and an aperture leading to the slit is formed in the inner surface of the guide to form an ink circulating path. CONSTITUTION:An ink supplyer 5 consists of an inking guide 6 and an ink supply guide 7. A port 28 leading to the ink-impregnated material 3 of a cartridge 2 is provided in the guide 7, having a slit 19 extending downwards from the port 28. The slit 19 is led to an inking guide-inserting hole 22 and a wire pin-passing hole provided in the guide 7. Ink in the ink-impregnated material 3 flows from the slit 19 of the port 28 of the ink supplyer 5 and goes through the aperture 22-1 to an ink circulating path 26. An ink reservoir 25 is formed on the tip of the wire pin 10 and further a meniscus 24 is formed.

Prior Art Various applications have been filed for devices in which printing is performed by applying fluid ink to the tip of a wire using capillary force. Jin's type generally has a porous member interposed near the tip of the wire, and ink is supplied to the ink tank to the porous member, and ink permeates into the porous member each time the wire moves toward the platen. Since the ink attached to the wire is used for printing, there is a problem in that the supply of ink to the tip of the wire is uneven, resulting in uneven printing quality. The publication discloses that a V-shaped narrow groove is provided in the wire guide at the tip of the wire, and ink is collected in the narrow groove.

The ink supply means 5 is composed of an ink adhesion guide 6 and an ink supply guide 7. The ink supply guide 7 is provided with an insertion port 28 communicating with the ink-impregnated material 3 of the cartridge 2, and a slit 19 extending downward from the insertion port 2B is cut. This slit 19 communicates with an ink adhesion guide insertion hole 22 and a wire pin passage hole 27, which are also provided in the ink supply guide 7. The circulation path-shaped bottom surface 7-1 on the ink supply guide side has a projection 21t for forming a circulation path. On the other hand, the ink adhesion guide 6 is provided with V-shaped slits 20 and 20-1 extending in all directions with the wire pin passage hole 29t as the center. The depth of the slit 20 is No. 41!21 (A, Surin) 2
The depth of 0-1 is also B. And slit 20
and the slit 20-1 communicate with each other at the tip. The circulation path forming surface 6-1 on the ink adhesion guide side is a flat wall. This ink adhesion guide 6 is connected to the ink supply guide 7.
The ink adhesion guide insertion hole 22 is inserted into the ink adhesion guide insertion hole 22 to complete the process, and a good state is shown in FIG. This becomes the ink supply means. When the ink adhesion guide 6 and the ink supply guide 7 are combined, the circulation path shape H on the side of the ink adhesion guide 6 and the gap 6-1 are joined to the protrusion 21 for forming the circulation path of the ink supply guide 7@. In this state, a gap 23 shown in FIG. 4 is partially formed and functions as a part of the ink circulation path.

Here, the ink ring rlljI2! , that is, ink impregnating material 3
It will be explained in what shape j12i'1 the nine ink supplied from 7t travels to the tip of the wire bottle 10. First, the ink in the ink-impregnated material 3 flows through the slit 19 of the insertion port 28 of the ink supply means 5. The ink further passes through the gap 22-1f:fL and flows into the ink circulation path 26. Then, an ink reservoir 25 is formed at the tip of the wire pin 10, and a meniscus 24 is further formed as shown in Figure 419. This ink flow is subjected to capillary action by the gap 22-1 and the ink circulation path 26.
