Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the wind-up operation of a reel and the stopping of the wind-up operation, by providing a plurality of lines A in the same distribution as that parts of a gear are notched at equal intervals, so that they may be recognized radially from the center on the side face of the reel. CONSTITUTION:A gear 5 having notched parts 4 at equal intervals is rotatably fitted onto a shaft which is provided in the intermediate section of an arm 2 integrally incorporated with a pedestal 1. A plate 7 rotatably supported to a fulcrum 6 is rotatably attached to the outer periphery of the gear 5 in such a position that the front end of the plate 7 is engaged with a recess in the gear 5 when it abuts against the gear section thereof to inhibit the plate from rotating, while when the front end abuts against one of the notch sections of the gear, the plate 7 rotates. A leaf spring 9 having one end locked to the shaft and the other end locked to the inner periphery 8 of the reel is incorporated in the shaft. Radial lines 10 through 15 are drawn in the directions in substantially parallel with the widthwise directions of the gear parts 5 on the side surface of the reel 16, and areas between the radial lines are painted in colors of red and white, alternately. With this arrangement, the wind-up operation and stopping of the reel may be confirmed by recognition of colors of red and white, and therefore, the working may be facilitated to alleviate mental fatigue.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a winder that automatically winds up cords, etc. using a spring, and is designed to facilitate winding, stopping, and rewinding.

Next, referring to the drawings, it will be explained that the argy 5, which is provided integrally with the pedestal 1, is rotatably mounted. Note that if a plate 7 supported by a fulcrum 6 is rotatably attached to the outer circumference of the gear 5, and its tip comes into contact with the gear part, it will engage with the recess of the gear and cannot rotate, and will come into contact with a large part of the gear. Then it will be in position so that it can be rotated. Furthermore, a leaf spring 9 is built into the outer periphery of the shaft, one end of which is engaged with the shaft, and the other end of which is engaged with the inner periphery 8 of the reel. Radiation 10.11.12.13 on the side of the reel 16 in the same direction as the width of each gear 5
.. 14 and 15, and red and white colors were applied alternately between the radiation beams. A roller 17 holding a hood 18 is provided at the other end of the arm 2.

With the above structure, when the cord 18 is gripped and pulled, the reel 16 and gear 5 rotate against the spring 9, and the cord is pulled out to a desired position. When the white part of the reel reaches the position of the roller, the stop piece 7 is removed and the reel starts winding by the force of the spring.

As described above, winding and stopping of the reel, which was conventionally done by feeling, can be determined by the red and white colors, making the work easier and reducing psychological fatigue.
