Conventionally, embossed decorative sheets are made by sequentially printing a pattern printing layer and a base coat layer on the embossed surface of a transparent polyvinyl chloride film whose one side is uniformly embossed in a matte finish, and then printing a wood grain conduit or an abstract pattern on the other side. It was created by embossing a pattern.

However, this manufacturing method has the disadvantages of (i) embossing after printing, which causes the polyvinyl chloride film to be stretched unevenly, making the color tone of the printed pattern unstable; (ii) Embossing causes uneven gloss, sagging, wrinkles, etc., resulting in severe variations in quality and lower yields; (iii) embossing causes pattern bending; and (iv) embossing causes unevenness. There are various drawbacks such as severe variations in dimensions in the direction and width direction, and (v) high width shrinkage of the transparent polyvinyl chloride film that occurs during embossing, resulting in film loss, and improvements have been desired.

As a result of research to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present inventor embossed an embossed pattern on a transparent polyvinyl chloride film, and then added a pattern printing layer and a base coat layer to the non-embossed surface of the transparent polyvinyl chloride film. The inventors have discovered that all of the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks can be overcome by a manufacturing method in which they are sequentially printed, and the present invention has been completed based on this knowledge.

That is, the gist of the present invention is characterized in that a transparent polyvinyl chloride film is embossed with an embossed pattern, and then a pattern printing layer and a base coat layer are successively printed on the non-embossed surface of the transparent polyvinyl chloride film. This is a method for manufacturing an embossed decorative sheet.

1 and 2 show a first embodiment of the invention. First, as shown in the first figure, a transparent polyvinyl chloride film 1 is embossed with an embossed pattern 2 of wood grain conduits. After that, a transparent polyvinyl chloride film 1 with an embossed pattern embossed on it
A wood grain embossed decorative sheet 6 can be obtained by printing a pattern printing layer 4 having a wood grain pattern on the non-embossed surface 3 of the sheet as shown in FIG. 2, and then printing a base coat layer 5.

In the method for manufacturing an embossed decorative sheet of the present invention, the embossed pattern is formed by (i) applying a polyvinyl chloride compound as shown in Figure 5 in the step of manufacturing a transparent polyvinyl chloride film using a calendar device. Rolls 21, 22, 23,
24 to form a film of a constant thickness, and then the rolled film is passed between an embossing roll 25 and a rubber roll 26 for embossing, and then brought into contact with a cooling drum 27 to be cooled to form the film and embossing it. how to do it together,
Alternatively, (ii) the already produced transparent polyvinyl chloride film can be produced by any of the methods of embossing, among which method (i) has higher production efficiency, and This is desirable because no shrinkage occurs in the width direction during embossing.

Next, in the above method for manufacturing an embossed decorative sheet of the present invention, the embossed pattern is not limited to the wood grain conduit pattern, but transparent polyvinyl chloride having an embossed pattern 12 of an abstract pattern such as a hammer tone as shown in the third figure. It is also possible to print an abstract pattern 14 on the non-embossed surface 13 of the film 11 as shown in the fourth figure, and then print and form a base coat layer 15 to obtain a decorative sheet 16 for flooring.

Next, in the above method for producing an embossed decorative sheet of the present invention, the transparent polyvinyl chloride film is not only colorless and transparent, but also colored with a dye or mixed with a pigment in the resin to an extent that does not impair transparency. Colored transparent films can also be applied.

As detailed above, according to the method of the present invention,
Since the embossing process after printing can be omitted, production efficiency can be increased and production costs can be reduced.
Further, according to the method of the present invention, it is possible to eliminate the problems of dimensional defects and poor color tone due to embossing after printing, and it is possible to produce a decorative sheet with good dimensional accuracy and stable color tone. Further, according to the method of the present invention, problems such as uneven gloss, sagging and wrinkles caused by embossing after printing can be eliminated, and a decorative sheet of good quality without uneven gloss, sagging and wrinkles can be produced. Furthermore, according to the method of the present invention, width shrinkage of the polyvinyl chloride film due to post-printing embossing can be eliminated, so a web narrower in width than before can be used.

Example 1 A polyvinyl chloride compound containing 17 parts of plasticizer was rolled between rolls using a calender device.
A film with a thickness of 0.15 mm was formed, and the formed film was then embossed by passing it through an embossing plate with 50 to 70 μ deep grain conduits and a synthetic rubber roll of 320 to 500 mesh, and then cooled. A transparent polyvinyl chloride film with an embossed pattern was produced. Next, a wood grain pattern was printed on the non-embossed surface, and then a base coat layer was printed to obtain a beautiful embossed decorative sheet.
