[Prior Art] Conventionally, as shown in, for example, Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 59-48603, a plurality of through holes (for mounting contact pins are fixed to these through holes via insulating bushings. The tip ends of these contact pins protrude from the outer circumferential surface of the connector body, and are electrically connectable to the contacts on the light source device side of the endoscope. In order to protect the contact pin, an annular projection is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the connector body located slightly rearward of the contact pin, protruding slightly higher than the contact pin.

[Problems to be solved by the invention] In the conventional technology, an annular protrusion was provided to protect the contact pin, but this only provided enough protection when the device was placed on a desk, and the contact pin could be accidentally hit. There was a problem that the contact pin would become buried in the through hole (mounting hole). The present invention has been made in view of these problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide an endoscope in which a conductive contact member is not buried even if an impact is applied to the conductive contact member.
