Abstract

PURPOSE:To inexpensively and simply obtain an artificial product reproduced visually and tactually, by photographing the surface pattern of natural cork or tanned leather at a close distance to apply color printing to the surface of paper and subsequently applying screen printing using expandable ink thereto before further successively applying heat treatment and embossing treatment. CONSTITUTION:The surface pattern of a model is photographed at a close distance to form a color photographic manuscript and the surface pattern of an actual material is faithfully color-printed on the surface of paper by using the obtained printing plate. Next, the aforementioned color photographic manuscript is used as a base to form a screen plate which is, in turn, registered to the aforementioned color printing and heat-expandable ink is used to apply screen printing onto said color printing by a screen printing method or a solid- printing method so as to obtain the hue alike the surface of the actual model. Subsequently, heat treatment is applied to the printed matter to expand said ink. By this heat treatment, the printed part is embossed upward by about 0.15-0.2mm to impart three-dimensional feeling to the printed matter.

Among these pseudo printing methods, woodgrain printing in particular is widely used in many fields, such as building materials, furniture, electrical products, and the like. For example, it can be used as wallpaper or fusuma paper with beautiful natural wood grain patterns printed on paper, or as building materials with wood grain patterns printed directly on plywood, or even as melamine resin after printing wood grain patterns on paper or vinyl chloride resin film. It is widely used as a decorative board for furniture materials and housing materials for electrical products, which are processed and laminated with polyester resin processing. In addition, tile patterns are also processed with pseudo-printing and used as building materials.

However, in this conventional pseudo-printing process, a color photo original is usually created by taking a close-up photo of the surface of the actual object, and then this is color separated, a masking process is performed to create a net negative or net positive, and then this is This is done using a method of creating an original plate and applying offset printing or gravure printing, and although the resulting product visually reproduces the surface pattern of the real object fairly faithfully, it is The texture and feel of the product have not been reproduced, and it is not tactilely satisfying.

For example, natural cork and tanned leather have a soft texture and feel, and have a calm color tone, so they are used as building materials, craft materials, interior materials, etc., but these are expensive in terms of resources and price. Due to this problem, there is a strong desire to develop artificial products that faithfully reproduce these visually and tactilely, but this has not been achieved to date.

Means for Solving the Problems As a result of intensive research, the inventors of the present invention modeled natural cork or tanned leather, took close-up pictures of the surface pattern, created a color photo manuscript, and used this to create a paper surface. After performing color printing on the surface, screen printing with foaming ink was performed on the surface, followed by heating treatment and embossing treatment in order to achieve the above object.Based on this knowledge, the present invention was developed. I was able to complete it.

That is, the present invention includes (a) a step of color printing the above-mentioned surface pattern on paper using a color photographic original obtained by taking a close-up of the surface pattern of a natural cork sheet or tanned leather; (b) the above-mentioned process. A step of screen printing a shade on the color printing surface using a silk screen printing plate created based on a color photo original and heat foaming ink, and (c) heating the screen print to apply the foamable ink to the area. The present invention provides a cork or tanned leather pseudo-printing method comprising the steps of foaming, and (d) embossing the printed surface after the foaming treatment.

In the present invention, natural cork or tanned leather is used as a model, and in the same manner as in normal photoengraving, the surface pattern of the model is first taken in close-up to create a color photographic manuscript, which is then color-separated. A net negative or net positive is created through a masking process. In this case, the mesh negative or mesh positive may be created by a photographic method, or the model may be made thin and created directly from the surface pattern by an electronic method using a color scanner.

Next, a printing plate is created by the usual method using the net negative or net positive obtained in this way, and then this printing plate is used to faithfully print the surface pattern of the actual object in color on the paper surface. . The type of printing plate is not particularly limited and may be letterpress, lithographic, or intaglio.

Next, based on the above-mentioned color photo original, a screen plate is created from the net positive cyan, magenta or black film, or a flat steel plate film is created using a contact screen similar to the surface pattern of the model. This creates a screen version. There are no particular restrictions on the material of the screen, and materials woven from fibers such as silk, nylon, and polyester may be used. Next, using this screen plate, screen printing is performed on the color print by a halftone printing method or a solid printing method. The thermally foamable ink is an ink that is used in normal foam printing, for example, contains a water-soluble foaming agent and a dye, and after printing, it is pre-dried at a temperature of 60°C or less, and then heated at a temperature of 105 to 120°C. Ink that foams by heating for ~2 minutes, foaming agent that contains a foaming agent encapsulated in a polyvinyl alcohol capsule, and foams by heating at a temperature of 110℃ for about 1 minute after printing, and resin-type ink that contains a foaming agent. , a material that is foamed by passing through a furnace maintained at a temperature of 120 to 140° C. after printing can be used.

The heated wet layer and heating time are appropriately selected depending on the type of ink used. This heat treatment causes the printed portion to stand out by 0.15 to 0.2xy, giving the printed matter a three-dimensional effect.

1 In the present invention, embossing is further performed in order to tactilely reproduce the surface of the real object faithfully. This embossing can be done by making an emboss plate from a net negative created based on the color photo original mentioned above, or from a contact screen film that resembles the surface pattern of the model, or by following the method used in normal embossing. , or it can also be done by letterpress printing.

Effects of the Invention According to the pseudo printing method of the present invention, not only ordinary paper but also
Inexpensive papers such as kraft paper can also be used effectively, and can be printed on either the whole or part of the surface, and cork or leather-like prints can easily be obtained. Unlike conventional products, this product has a luxurious feel that faithfully reproduces natural cork or tanned leather both visually and tactilely, and because it is based on paper, it is inexpensive. Therefore, it is suitably used as, for example, paper carton materials, wallpaper, interior materials, craft materials, various covers, envelopes, packaging materials, and the like.

Next, a thin layer of beige-colored foam ink is printed using a 300 mesh/inch silk screen printing plate made from cyan and magenta mesh positives. The foaming ink used was Teatsuta, a water-soluble foaming agent in which a foaming agent was enclosed in a polyvinyl alcohol capsule [Dainichiseika, New Dai 7 Ohm EX-50920 (for salt T')]. After printing, it is dried at 40°C and heat treated at 100°C for 12 seconds.
