Road surfaces are often frozen in winter, not only in cold regions, but even in warm regions other than cold regions. For this reason, traffic accidents due to cars getting stuck or skidding on these roads are often seen. Apart from the fact that the vehicle was not equipped with tire chains, snow tires, spiked tires, etc., another reason for this is that the driver lacks experience driving on frozen or snowy roads, that is, is inexperienced in driving. Therefore, in order to drive safely on frozen or snow-covered roads, it is necessary to acquire driving skills that are different from those used on ordinary roads. However, in order to do so, it is essential to actually practice driving on frozen or snow-covered roads, but it is not possible to practice driving on such roads unless it is in the winter, or it cannot be done unless you go to a cold region. There were some restrictions. As described above, in the past, there were problems in that practicing on frozen or snow-covered roads could only be done in the winter in warm regions, and that practicing outside of winter required traveling to cold regions.

As a means to solve such problems, it has been known to construct a special road surface that is close to a frozen road surface or a snow-covered road surface by lowering the coefficient of friction of the road surface to an extreme lower than that of a general road surface. However, this requires a large dedicated site and a large amount of investment to create the road surface, and there are several other drawbacks such as the need for advanced technology to create the road surface, making it difficult to put it into practical use. It was hot.

This invention was devised to solve the above conventional problems, and is free from seasonal or regional restrictions.
An object of the present invention is to provide an automobile tire that can realize driving conditions similar to actual driving on a frozen road or a snowy road.

The gist of the present invention is that, of the so-called tire outer envelope consisting of a tread section, a shoulder section, a sidewall section, and a bead section, the tread section is formed of a material with a low coefficient of friction such as hard vinyl chloride or glass fiber. In addition, the road surface, which is the contact surface, is formed into a tread pattern, that is, a smooth surface without tire grooves, thereby reducing the coefficient of friction between the tire and the frozen or snowy road by reducing the material of at least the tread portion of the tire. This allows the vehicle to be set by selecting the following conditions, thereby making it possible to drive on frozen or snow-covered roads at any time and in any area.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
First, FIG. 1 shows the implementation of a first embodiment, and a tire 1 in the figure is formed of two layers, an inner layer 2 and an outer layer 3, an inner layer and an outer layer. The inner layer 2 is made of the same material as a normal tire material, for example rubber. Further, the outer layer 3 is made of a material with a low coefficient of friction such as hard vinyl chloride or glass fiber for all of its tread portion a, shoulder portion b, sidewall portion c, and bead portion d. The tread surface of the tread portion a is not provided with tire grooves forming a tread pattern, but is formed on a smooth surface 3a to prevent grip from the ground.

FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment, in which both the tread part a and the shoulder part b of the outer layer of the first embodiment are made of the material with the low friction coefficient, and the sidewall part c and the bead part d is made of the same material as the inner layer.

FIG. 3 shows a third embodiment, in which the entire tire outer envelope including the inner layer and outer layer is made of the material with the low coefficient of friction.

The first embodiment described above is advantageous in that the tire outer envelope can have a simple structure consisting of two layers, the inner and outer layers, and its rigidity can be ensured. In addition, in the second embodiment, since a material with a low coefficient of friction is used only in the tread and shoulder portions of the outer layer, if the material cost is high, the amount used may be lower than that in the first embodiment. The amount can also be reduced, which is advantageous in terms of economy. Furthermore, in the third embodiment, the entire tire outer envelope is made of the same material with a low coefficient of friction without changing the material partially as in the above two embodiments. It is better than the example.

In any of the above embodiments, tire grooves forming the tread pattern of the tire are not formed, and the tread surface is formed as a smooth surface. Various slip phenomena can be realized by selecting a material with a low coefficient of friction used in the tire of the present invention or by setting the surface roughness.

According to the present invention described above, it is possible to realize driving similar to actual driving on frozen roads or snow-covered roads without being subject to seasonal or regional restrictions. As a result, driving practice for safely driving on the frozen or snowy road can be carried out efficiently and economically.
