[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention provides an improvement from a structural point of view in a lid body for sealingly closing the opening of various packaging containers including medical and food containers. It is related to.

As is well known, as a general means for sealing the mouth of a container, for example, as shown in FIG. 2, in addition to the lid 5, an inner stopper 6 and a gasket 7 have been used in combination. In other words, the inner stopper 6 is fitted into the container mouth 2 to ensure a sealed state that cannot be obtained with the lid 5 alone, and the gasket 7 is attached to the inner stopper 6 and the lid to complement the sealing function of the inner stopper 6. body 5
It has been used interposed between the two.

Therefore, in this respect, when sealing the container mouth 2, it is customary that these parts must be used in combination, and those skilled in the art believe that it is possible to improve processability, mass production, and even make a dramatic leap forward. In order to reduce costs, there is a great need to provide a hermetic structure that reduces the number of parts as much as possible while ensuring hermeticity.

Moreover, the packing 7 itself is
- Even if it is a so-called insert type that is fitted, it is still an independent and separate member, so it is necessary to There are many cases in which the inner plug 6 falls off from its intervening position, and the complementary function of the inner stopper 6 cannot be ensured at all times, and there are problems from a structural standpoint that make it necessary to plan for risks from the beginning. Moreover, the complementary action of the seal on the inner plug 6 of the seal 7 is basically achieved by pressing the lid body using the elasticity of a foam material such as polyethylene, which has relatively low compression creep. As the container is used over and over again, its restorability decreases significantly, and this also causes leakage of the contents of the container.

In other words, the more complete the sealing function is in the inner stopper 6, the more difficult it will be to attach and remove it when in use.
If you try to forcefully attach or detach them, your hands will hurt, and in some cases, cracks may develop, causing fluid leaks.

Therefore, the purpose of this invention is to solve all of the above-mentioned problems. It has a perfect sealing function in terms of structure, and can be used for various purposes such as medical and food products with as few parts as possible. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a lid for a packaging container that can be used as a packaging container. In other words, the conventional sealing structure consisting of a three-way combination of lid, gasket, and inner stopper, which had to contain the leakage of container contents at all times, has been completely replaced, and the lid alone has a perfect sealing function. This is an attempt to provide a lid for a packaging container that can be used in a variety of ways.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention integrally molds a seal part that tightly seals directly against the container mouth part on the main body part, which performs the same function as a conventional lid part. It has perfect sealing properties.

The main body is made of a general-purpose resin material such as high-density polyethylene, and the seal part is made of a thermoplastic elastomer such as styrene or polyolefin. In other words, we focused on the fact that thermoplastic elastomers have rubber-like elastic properties with significantly lower creep strain than the foam packing mentioned above, and that they can be integrally molded with different types of plastic materials. Not only was it adopted as a replacement for the conventional inner stopper and gasket, but it also had more fundamental changes in terms of structure and mechanical and physical properties. In particular, in order to have sufficient flexibility to tightly seal the mouth of the container, and to have sufficient rigidity to maintain a constant shape at all times without causing permanent deformation, Shore hardness (A) is 3
5 to 90 thermoplastic elastomer is used.

(Function) Therefore, the gasket and inner stopper, which were structurally prone to liquid leakage as in the past, can be completely replaced, and the lid itself can be used! 5. It is possible to ensure a quiet function, and furthermore, the sealing function can also be exhibited with good improvement in mechanical or physical properties.

In the drawings, reference numeral 1 denotes a main body made of high-density polyethylene, and a female threaded portion 3 screwed into a container opening 2 is formed within the main body. 4 is a sealing part made of a styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer with a Shore hardness (A) of 65, and the main body part 1
It is completely integrally formed within. In this embodiment, it is integrally molded by two-color injection molding.

Therefore, when screwing the lid according to this embodiment onto the opening 2 of a packaging container, the sealing part 4 will not shift or come off completely like a conventional packing. As the lid is twisted, the seal portion 4 is sealed very tightly against the end surface 2a of the container mouth by the presser foot, and in order to release this sealed state, the lid can be simply removed. It's something that can be done.

By the way, in this embodiment, the main body part 1 is made of high-density polyethylene, but it is not limited to this, and general-purpose resins may be used as appropriate, but depending on the material of the seal part 4 used, , materials such as high-density polyethylene or polypropylene that can be well integrated are most preferred. Further, the material of the sealing part 4 is not limited to styrene as in this embodiment, but various materials such as polyolefin, polyester, polyurethane, and vinyl chloride can be used, and may be selected as appropriate depending on the application. It is recognized that thermoplastic elastomers such as styrene and polyolefin are suitable for food and pharmaceutical applications.

As mentioned above, two-color injection molding is usually suitable as a means for integrally molding, but it is of course not limited to this. For example, insert molding etc. may be used. In short, it is appropriate to adopt a molding method that can ensure integrity that cannot be separated from the main body.

Fill a 10L container with the specified amount of water, tighten the lid of each hardness to the edge of the mouth using a special jig, then lay the container on its side and apply a load of 20ka from above. We checked to see if there were any leaks. The test was conducted outdoors, and for comparison, the thickness of the sealed portion was changed to 1.2%311.

(Seal properties test 112) Next, since seal properties are originally relative properties that are greatly affected by the condition of the contact surface of the target object with which the seal part comes into contact, this point should also be considered. We investigated whether a good sealing effect could be obtained. In other words, as shown in Fig. 3, depth 0.51/Il x width 0.51/TI (7) from the end surface of the container mouth to the inner surface of the mouth.
Ten scratches 8 were made to forcibly create a rough surface condition, a lid was placed on the surface, and the test was conducted under the same conditions as in Characteristic Test 1 described above.

Table 2 As is clear from Table 2 above, with the lid according to the present invention, no liquid leakage occurred in any of the samples even after three months. On the other hand, with the conventional product, all leakage occurred immediately after starting or after one day. This result shows that the product of the present invention has no effect on the accuracy of the mouth area.
This means that airtightness can be maintained independently, regardless of the surface condition of the contact surface. On the other hand, the conventional type requires high dimensional accuracy in both the inner stopper and the container mouth dimensions. Furthermore, with the lid according to the present invention, even if the opening of the container is not a perfect circle and is close to an elliptical shape, the sealing performance is maintained, but it has been found that the conventional type definitely causes liquid leakage.

As mentioned above, the lid according to the present invention has extremely good sealing properties, and since it was also found to have heat resistance and non-toxicity, it was subjected to high-pressure sterilization under closed conditions. It has been recognized that this product has unprecedented utility value for lids for special purposes such as medical and food products, where it is customary to apply coatings.

(Effects) As described above, the lid according to the present invention eliminates the need for the conventional inner plug and lid, so there is no risk of liquid leakage, etc., which the inner plug and lid had due to their structure. Not only has the seal been completely eliminated, but the seal part, which is integrally molded into the main body, has extremely good mechanical and physical properties, further improving the sealing effect. We were able to demonstrate a dramatic improvement in sealing properties. Moreover, since the number of parts can be significantly reduced compared to the conventional method, it is easy to process and mass-produced, and is extremely economical. Furthermore, since it can be provided with unique characteristics essential for medical food applications such as heat resistance and non-toxicity, it has been possible to provide an extremely large lid that contributes to the technical field.
