Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a hologramic image visible on the surface of an article by adhering a releasable resin contg. hologramic information recorded in the form of relief pattern on a plastic film, and a sheet provided with a metallic thin film and an adhesive layer successively on the pattern part to the surface of an article. CONSTITUTION:A resin layer 2 comprising acrylic or acrylonitrile/styrene copolymer, etc. contg. hologramic information recorded in the form of relief pattern 6 of interference fringes is provided on a substrate 1 comprising plastic film such as polyethylene film. A metallic thin film 3 is formed on the layer 2 by the vapor deposition of Al or Cr, etc. The metallic thin film 6 on the part other than the pattern may be removed by etching. Then, a transfer sheet 7 for reproducing the hologramic image is provided by forming a pressure sensitive or heat sensitive adhesive layer 4 on the whole surface. The sheet 7 is adhered to the surface of an article 8 interposing an adhesive layer and the substrate 1 is peeled off. By this method, transfer on the surface of an article having curved surface has become possible, and reproduction of hologramic image is realized, which may be utilized for reproducing hologramic image on an article having a surface of high decorative value or unforgeable security, etc.

<Prior Art> A hologram is generally a record of an interference pattern of light, and has been applied to many fields such as interference measurement and optical equipment. In particular, various studies have been conducted on three-dimensional images, so-called stereoscopic image recording and reproduction, and the development of laser technology,
With the development of photosensitive materials, there is a sense of rapid progress in terms of accuracy, resolution, ease of reproduction, etc. A so-called relief hologram, in which light interference fringes are recorded as a concavo-convex pattern on the surface of a recording material, has also been developed relatively recently, and its use has made it possible to reproduce holograms in large quantities.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> However, all conventional holograms, including duplicate holograms obtained from the relief holograms mentioned above, have been recorded on a single glass or plastic film. That is, the obtained hologram does not escape from the sheet-like form, and if this hologram image is to be formed on the surface of an article for decoration, prevention of counterfeiting, or other purposes, the sheet-like object is attached to the article with a suitable adhesive. There was no choice but to use a method of attaching it to the surface. This is a time-consuming method, and is not suitable for curved surfaces for holograms on glass substrates. Above all, it is difficult to remove the impression of holograms on glass substrates, so it spoils the aesthetic appearance of the surface of the product, and the hologram It was a way to reduce the aesthetic effect of the image.

<Means for Solving the Problems> In view of the current situation, the present inventors have conducted various studies and considerations in order to reproduce only the hologram image as it is, rather than attaching a hologram sheet to the surface of the article. As a result, the present invention was completed. That is, in the present invention, a resin layer is provided on a plastic film or film, and has releasability with respect to the plastic film, and in which hologram information is recorded as a concavo-convex pattern. A transfer sheet for reproducing a hologram image, which is capable of reproducing a hologram image on the surface of an article, characterized in that a metal thin film layer is provided on the corresponding part, and an adhesive layer is further provided on the metal thin film layer, and a Plus Sensoku film. A resin layer having releasability with respect to the plastic film and on which hologram information is recorded as a concavo-convex pattern is provided on top, and a metal thin film layer is provided on at least a portion corresponding to the concavo-convex pattern. A transfer sheet for reproducing a hologram image, on which an adhesive layer is provided, is placed so that the adhesive layer side is in contact with the surface of the article, and if necessary, pressure and/or heat is applied from the plastic film side. By adding and adhering to the surface of the article, and peeling off the plastic film,
This is a method for reproducing a hologram image on the surface of an article, characterized by transferring the resin layer and the metal thin film layer onto the surface of the article.

A resin layer 2 is provided on the plastic film 1. The resin N2 is formed by printing and applying an ink-formed resin, and then hardening it by heating, ultraviolet irradiation, or other means. The resin used should preferably be one that is easily cured after printing and coating. For example, there are resins such as 5, acrylic resins, acrylonitrile-styrene copolymers, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymers, and methacrylic-styrene copolymers. In this resin layer 2, interference fringes of hologram information are recorded as a concavo-convex pattern 6. The interference fringes of this bologram information are interference fringes generated by the normal hologram manufacturing method G=. That is, the pattern may be a pattern formed by interference between a reference light and an object light obtained from a model, or may include a pattern partially formed by interference between two types of reference light. In the former case, a three-dimensional image of the model is obtained during reproduction, and in the latter case, a spectrum of light is obtained. This concavo-convex pattern 6 may be made of photoresist, but in order to manufacture it at low cost, a metal film is formed by coating on the concave-convex pattern of the photoresist, and this is peeled off. It is preferable to form the resin layer 2 on the resin layer 2 by a method such as obtaining a master and heating the master from the master.

On the resin N2, a metal thin film layer 3 is provided at least on a portion corresponding to the concavo-convex pattern 6. metal thin 1
! As a means for forming the fi layer 3, for example, there is a vapor deposition method. Metals commonly used for vapor deposition include aluminum, chromium, and copper. This metal thin film layer 3 may be provided partially or entirely. Methods for partially providing the metal thin film layer 3 include: (1) masking unnecessary parts of the metal thin film layer 3, then forming a metal thin film on the entire surface, and then removing the masking; 2. Metal thin film N
3, a water-soluble resin layer is formed on the unnecessary part, and then a metal thin film is formed on the entire surface, and then the water-soluble resin layer is removed by washing with water together with the unnecessary metal thin film on the water-soluble resin layer, etc. be.

When the ink layer 5 is provided under the resin layer 2, that is, between the plastic film 1 and the resin layer 2, the ink constituting the ink layer 5 has excellent adhesion to the resin N2 and is not attached to the plastic film 1. On the other hand, it is necessary to use an ink that has releasability.

In this way, the metal thin film layer 3 and the resin layer 2 having an uneven pattern are formed on the surface of the article 8. The uneven pattern 6
has hologram information recorded on it, and since light from the outside is reflected by the metal thin film layer 3 and passes through the resin layer 2 and enters the viewer's field of view, a hologram image is formed on the surface of the product for the viewer. It appears as if a three-dimensional image or an image due to spectral changes is being formed on the surface of the article.

<Effects of the Invention> As described above, the present invention provides a method for easily reproducing a hologram image on the surface of an article by using the transfer sheet for reproducing a hologram image according to the present invention. It can also be applied to the surface of an article exhibiting a curved surface, which is not suitable for holograms. Furthermore, since this method is not a method of pasting a sheet-like object, the impression that a hologram image itself is formed on the surface of the article is obtained, which has a great aesthetic effect.
