Abstract

PURPOSE:To use no link mechanisms to simplify a driving mechanism by not moving back and forth a wire of an agitator but turning it in one direction. CONSTITUTION:An agitator A is arranged between a toner recovery auger 6 and a blade member 2 which is brought into elastic contact with the surface of a photosensitive drum 1 in the breadthwise direction. The agitator A consists of a turning shaft 60 extended in the axial direction of the photosensitive drum 1 and a wire 70 attached freely shakably to the shaft 60, and the turning shaft 60 is rotated in one direction at an approximately certain speed. The wire 70 is so arranged that the freely rotating end of a wire body 71 is slid along a toner carrying surface 7 of a toner receiving member 5. Stopper projecting pieces 73 and 74 are brought into contact with the turning shaft 60 to control the shake range of the wire body 71, and an accumulated toner on the toner carrying surface 7 is scraped away by the agitator A and is led to the side of the toner recovery auger 6.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in such a conventional copying machine cleaning device, in order to prevent interference between the photosensitive drum (1) and the toner collection auger (6), It is necessary to arrange the toner collection auger (6) at a distance from the photosensitive drum (1), and due to the layout, the toner collection auger (6) is placed approximately directly below the blade member (2).
This means that it will not be possible to place For this reason, the blade member (
Most of the residual toner on the photosensitive drum (1) scraped off in step 2) is deposited on the toner conveying surface (7) of the toner receiving member (5) located approximately directly below the blade member (2). After falling, the toner is guided to the toner collection auger (6) along the toner transport surface (7). In this case, the fifth
As shown by the imaginary line in the figure, since there is a possibility that the residual toner may gradually become on the toner conveying surface (7),
The accumulated toner sequentially blocks the residual toner heading toward the toner collection auger (6), resulting in a situation where the residual toner collection efficiency is significantly impaired.

As shown in the figure, a rotary paddle (10) as an agitator (A) is disposed between the blade member (2) and the toner collection auger (6), and the rotary paddle (10) as an agitator (A) is disposed on the toner conveying surface (7). There is one in which a paddle (10) is brought into sliding contact to scrape off the accumulated toner on the toner transport surface (A). However, in this type, the rotating paddle (10
) The accumulated toner jumps up at the moment when the table piece of the toner transport surface (7) comes into contact with and leaves the toner conveying surface (7), and the scattered toner adheres to the blade member (2) and the housing (3). Not only does this cause a situation where the toner leaks out, but the rotary paddle (
The toner is transferred to the toner conveying surface (7) by the table piece 10).
Because it is pressed against the toner transport surface (
7), toner tends to adhere to the surface (7), making it difficult to reliably scrape off the toner on the toner conveying surface (7).

For this reason, conventionally, an agitator (A) as shown in FIG. 7 has been provided to avoid the above-mentioned situation. This is a device in which a thin wire (11) is moved back and forth along the toner conveying surface (7), and the accumulated toner on the toner conveying surface (7) is scooped out from below. This effectively prevents the toner from scattering and adhering. However, in this case, in order to reciprocate the wire (11), for example, a link mechanism (12) that converts the rotational motion of the toner collection auger (6) into a linear reciprocating motion of the wire (11) is required. This results in a problem that the structure of the cleaning device becomes more complicated and the cost increases accordingly.

[Means and effects for solving the problems] This invention has been made by focusing on the above-mentioned problems, and its object is to provide a toner solution without complicating the structure of the device itself. To provide a cleaning device for a copying machine that can surely guide toner accumulated on a conveying surface to a toner collecting means without scattering it, thereby improving toner collecting efficiency. In order to achieve this object, the present invention is based on an agitator of a type in which a wire slides on the toner transport surface, and includes a rotary shaft extending along the axial direction of the photoreceptor, and a rotary shaft connected to the rotary shaft. On the other hand, the agitator is constituted by a wire that is swingably provided within a predetermined range and that slides into contact with the toner conveying surface in any swinging posture. In this case, since the wire scrapes off the accumulated toner on the toner conveying surface from below, it effectively prevents the toner from scattering or being pressed onto the toner conveying surface and adhering to it. Accordingly, the toner deposited on the toner conveying surface is reliably guided toward the toner collecting means. In addition, since the wire rotates in one direction, there is no need to use a link mechanism for reciprocating the wire as in the past, and the drive mechanism for the wire is simpler. This eliminates any concern that the structure of the cleaning device itself will become unnecessarily complicated. Furthermore,
Since the wire reliably comes into sliding contact with the toner conveying surface, the toner scraping operation by the wire is kept stable.

Therefore, according to the cleaning device for a copying machine according to this embodiment, when the residual toner on the surface of the photosensitive drum (1) is scraped off by the blade member (2), the toner is directed toward the toner receiving member (5). However, due to the layout, most of the toner falls on the toner transport surface (from the surface of the photosensitive drum (1) to the toner collection auger (6)).
7) At the same time, a part of the toner falls directly onto the toner collection auger (6). In this case, toner gradually accumulates on the toner conveying surface (7), but the accumulated toner is scraped off by the agitator (A) and guided toward the toner collection auger (6). now,

) rotates together with the rotating shaft (60) with one stopper protrusion (73) in contact with the rotating shaft (60), as shown in FIG. 4(a); At a position beyond the highest point, the wire main body (71) causes the other stopper protrusion (14) to collide with the rotating shaft (60) due to its own weight, as shown in FIG. 4(b). In this state, the wire body (
The rotatable free end of the wire body (71) is disposed close to the surface of the photosensitive drum (1), and as the rotary shaft (60) rotates, the rotatable free end of the wire body (71) immediately touches the toner conveying surface ( 7), the wire body (71
) changes to any swinging posture between the maximum circumscribed locus and the minimum circumscribed locus, as shown in FIG. 4(C), and as the rotation shaft (60) rotates, the toner conveying surface (7)
It moves while sliding in contact with. At this time, the wire main body (71) scrapes off the accumulated toner on the toner conveying surface (7) from below, so that the toner is not picked up by the wire main body (71) or the toner is removed. The situation in which the toner is pressed onto the toner conveying surface (7) is effectively avoided, and the accumulated toner on the toner conveying surface (7) is smoothly removed and guided to the toner collecting auger (6). Thereafter, as the rotating shaft (60) rotates, the wire body (7
1) leaves the toner transport surface (7) and moves toward the toner collection auger (6). In this case, even if the maximum circumscribed locus of the wire body (71) is arranged to interfere with the outer peripheral edge of the toner collection auger (6), the wire body (71) is As shown in
While taking an arbitrary swinging posture between the maximum circumscribed locus and the minimum circumscribed locus, it moves in sliding contact with the outer peripheral edge of the toner collection auger (6). For this reason, the wire body (71
) and the toner collection auger (6) do not interfere with each other, and moreover, the toner around the toner collection auger (6) is scraped away by the wire body (71), so the toner collection auger ( 6) The situation in which toner is deposited in a tunnel shape in the surrounding area is also effectively avoided. After this, the wire main body (71) is connected to the toner collection auger (
6), the wire main body (71) moves away from the above-mentioned wire body (71) while maintaining a posture in which one stopper protrusion (73) is in contact with the rotating shaft (60), as shown in FIG. 4(e). It moves as the rotating shaft (60) rotates, and thereafter the above-described operation is repeated.

Further, in this embodiment, the driving force of the rotating shaft (60) of the agitator (A) is the toner collection auger (
Since the rotational force of the agitator (A) is utilized, there is no need for a means to drive only the rotation shaft (60), which simplifies the drive means for the agitator (A>) and also simplifies the drive means for the agitator (A>). Since the wire (70) only needs to be rotated in one direction, it is not necessary to make the wire (70) reciprocate and linearly move using a conventional link mechanism.

Furthermore, in this embodiment, a substantially central portion of the blade member (2) is connected to one arm (33) of the support arm (30).
Since the blade member (2) is
Even if the blade member (2) is arranged non-parallel to the surface of the photosensitive drum (1), the blade member (2) is self-adjusted to be parallel to the surface of the photosensitive drum (1), and presses the photosensitive drum with a substantially uniform pressing force. (1) Will come into contact with the surface. Further, even if the amount of residual toner on the surface of the photosensitive drum (1) differs in the width direction and a difference occurs in the coefficient of friction on the surface of the photosensitive drum (1), the elastic action of the elastic body (41) will cause the blade to Lifting of the negative side of the member (2) is effectively suppressed, and accordingly, the state of contact of the blade member (2) with the surface of the photosensitive drum (1) is always maintained in good condition. Furthermore, in this embodiment, if the blade piece (53) is damaged, the blade base (51) can be moved to the support arm (30) side without removing the entire blade member (2) from the support arm (30). It becomes possible to replace the blade piece (53) while leaving it in place, and the work of replacing the blade member (2) is accordingly facilitated.
