フトが挿通されたアクスルハウジングの外周には
車輪ハブが回転自在に組付けられ、かつこのアク
スルシヤフトと共に回転し得るように固定された
インナハブに対してインナカム及びその外周に位
置するアウタカムがそれぞれ相対回転可能に組付
けられている一方、前記アクスルハウジングに固
定されたブレーキドラムの内側にブレーキシユー
が固定されているとともに、このブレーキシユー
の内側に配置されているブレーキスプリングを前
記アクスルシヤフトの駆動初期においてインナカ
ムの作用によつて拡張させ、これに伴つてブレー
キスプリングとブレーキシユーとの間で生じる摩
擦力により、前記のインナカムに制動トルクを与
え、この制動トルクに基づくクラツチ制御によつ
て前記アクスルシヤフトと車輪ハブとをロツク状
態とし、その後前記アウタカムの作用によつてブ
レーキスプリングを収縮させ、もつて前記の制動
トルクを低下させるように構成したオートロツキ
ングハブであつて、前記のブレーキシユーにおけ
るインナハブ外周及びアウタカム外周に対するそ
れぞれの対向部に、これらインナハブ及びアウタ
カムの各外周面に対して円周方向に連続して接触
するシール体を固定したことを特徴とするオート
