１図に示すように押え金上に露出して設けられて
いるため作業中手指に引掛つたり或いは縫製中の
布切断や縫目形成を注視するうえでの視界の妨げ
となり、また該バネはルーパの作動の障害となら
ないように迂回して設けられているので、その形
状は多くの屈曲部を有し、そのため外観がごてご

ている。押え金装置の組付け時やバネの損傷等に
よる取替時におけるバネ５の取付け、取外しを容
易にするために押え金後部にはピン６が嵌挿され
る横孔７及び該横孔中央部を縦断するスロツト８
が形成される一方、支持部材１には長孔４上部に
ピン９が嵌合する径大の長孔と同心円状をなす凹
所若くは長孔の径方向に形成される溝１０が設け
られる。しかして、上記バネ５の取付けはバネ下
端のフツク５１をスロツト８に嵌挿してのち、ピ
ン６を横孔７に挿入してフツク５１に通し、つい
でバネ５を上方に引張つて上端のフツク５２にピ
ン９を係合させそのまゝ凹所若くは溝１０に嵌合
して行い、またその取外しは逆にピン６を横孔７
より引抜いてバネ下端を自由にしたのち、バネ５
をピン９ごと引上げ、或いは押え装置を逆さにし

に取付けたまゝでもバネの着脱を行うことがで
き、バネを取付け或いは取外す際に一々押え金と
