This is a so-called hybrid static var power compensator. In FIG. 2, a reactor 11 and a reactor semiconductor switch 13 whose phase is controlled are connected to a power system 1 via a transformer 2 to continuously control the delayed current of the power system 1. A small reactor 21, a capacitor 22, and a semiconductor switch for capacitor 23 are connected to 2.
By turning on and off the capacitor semiconductor switch 23, the leading current of the power system 1 is changed in stages. A small reactor 31 configured similarly to this. A circuit consisting of a capacitor 32° and a capacitor semiconductor switch 33 is also connected to the transformer 2. Although only two banks of capacitors 22 and 32 are illustrated in this FIG. 2, many similar capacitor banks, not shown, are connected to the secondary side of transformer 2. The system voltage of power system 1 is determined by voltage transformer 3 and voltage detector 4.
The adder 6 calculates the deviation between the voltage detected by the voltage setter 5 and the system voltage, and the result of the calculation is input to the voltage regulator 7. The voltage regulator 7 outputs a reactive power command value corresponding to the voltage deviation, and the bank selectors 25, 35 .
45 selects a required capacitor bank from this reactive power command value, and connects the capacitor bank corresponding to the reactive power command value to the power system l via either of the synchronous calculation circuits 26, 36, 46. In this case, the reactive power adjustment is performed in stages due to the input of the capacitor bank, so that the reactive power required by the power system 1 cannot be compensated for 100% and there is a residual amount. Therefore, at the same time as the above-mentioned capacitor bank is turned on, a bias signal proportional to the input capacitor capacity outputted from the bias circuit 8 is subtracted from the above-mentioned reactive power command value in the adder 9. The reactor semiconductor switch 13 is phase-controlled by the output signal of the firing angle adjuster 16 to compensate for the above-mentioned residual power. In the reactive power compensator by opening and closing a capacitor bank,
In order to suppress the inrush current when a capacitor bank is turned on, so-called synchronous turning on is carried out, in which the capacitor bank is turned on at a phase where the difference between the capacitor voltage and the grid voltage is minimized. To do this, reactive power compensation is performed by controlling the phase of the reactor. This causes a control delay, and this control delay causes a disturbance to voltage fluctuations in the grid. Therefore, the time constant of the voltage regulator 7 must be set to a value that matches the control delay caused by the above-mentioned synchronization, so in the end, reactive power compensation operation using reactor phase control requires reactive power compensation operation using capacitor switching. It has the disadvantage of causing the same control delay. Furthermore, since a large number of bank selection circuits and synchronization calculation circuits are required in correspondence with the number of capacitor banks, there is also the disadvantage that the number of parts and cost of the control device increase as the number of capacitor banks increases.

In a static reactive power compensator combined with a reactor phase control type reactive power compensator that can continuously control lagged reactive power by detecting the voltage deviation value between the power system voltage and the set voltage, this deviation value is In order to compensate for A level detector detects a command to connect or cut off the capacitor bank to the power system, and a counter increases or decreases the number of capacitor banks in response to this command value, thereby performing reactive power compensation operation. The aim is to increase speed and reduce the number of parts in the control device.

Although only capacitor banks 2 & II are shown in the figure, many capacitor banks other than those shown are actually connected. In FIG. 1, a transformer 2 connected to a power system 1
A reactor 11 is connected to the secondary side of the reactor, and by controlling the phase of the reactor semiconductor switch 13,
The delayed reactive power flowing through this reactor 11 can be adjusted. In addition, capacitors 22 and 32 are connected to the secondary side of the transformer 2, but as described above, more capacitor banks may be connected in parallel as needed, and the capacitors connected to each capacitor may be semiconductor switch 2
By opening and closing 3.33, advance reactive power is 31! I can. Furthermore, these capacitors! The small reactor 21.31 connected in series with the reactor 2.32 is installed to protect the capacitor, and its capacity is generally about several percent of the capacitor capacity. Power system 1 by phase control of reactor semiconductor switch 13 and opening/closing of capacitor semiconductor switches 23 and 33
The reactive power compensation operation of is performed as follows. The system voltage of the power system 1 is detected by the instrument transformer 3 and the voltage detector 4, but on the other hand, the voltage setter 5 sets a set voltage as a target value, and the adder 6 sets the system voltage and the set voltage. A voltage deviation value, which is the difference from the voltage, is calculated. This voltage deviation value is input to the proportional-integral regulator 51,
A reactive power command value to be compensated for by the phase control of the reactor 11 is output from the proportional-integral regulator 51, and this reactive power command value is sent to the reactor semiconductor switch via the nonlinear correction circuit 15 and the firing angle regulator 16. 13, this reactor semiconductor switch 13 is phase-controlled, and the delayed reactive power flowing to the reactor 11 is continuously controlled. On the other hand, if the voltage deviation value output from the adder 6 continues to exceed a predetermined value for a certain period of time, an increase command signal for increasing the number of capacitor banks connected to the power grid l is sent to one side. The level detector 55 outputs a lowering command signal to reduce the number of capacitor banks connected to the power system 1 when the voltage deviation value remains below a certain predetermined value for a certain period of time. It is designed to be output from 56. The raise command signal and lower command signal are transmitted to the counter circuit 57, and the counter circuit 57 synchronously turns on or off the capacitor bank according to the count number of the input signal. That is, the phase control of the reactor 11 is controlled by the output signal from the proportional-integral regulator 51 which receives the voltage deviation value, and the opening/closing control of the capacitor bank 22.32 is performed by the level detector 55, 56 and the counter circuit 57 which also receive the voltage deviation value. With this combination, for system voltage fluctuations that cannot be compensated for only by phase control of the reactor 11, the voltage fluctuations can be compensated for in stages by increasing or decreasing the number of capacitor banks connected to the power system l, and the reactor 11 can also compensation is made gentle.

However, since the capacitor bank's closing/closing operations are made to have coordination that corresponds to the speed of the reactor's control response, it has the advantage of speeding up the reactive power compensation operation. Furthermore, the increase or decrease in the number of capacitor banks can be controlled by two sets of level detectors and a 1&l counter circuit, regardless of the number of capacitor banks installed.
The number of control parts is significantly reduced, which also has the effect of reducing overall costs.
