Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a lens barrel which engages a screw with a member having a helicoid external screw continuously, accuralely, and smoothly by composing a member having an internal screw by coupling two division members which are divided in a plane parallel to an optical axis. CONSTITUTION:A helicoid link 3 is constituted by coupling the division members 31 and 32 which are divided in the section containing the optical axis, and they are coupled by engaging pins and holes 34 provided to the sections and engaging snap fits formed of a projection piece with a claw and an engaging recessed part 36 provided to outside drum parts of the sections. The helicoid link 3 is formed in the division structure and then when the division members 31 and 32 are molded of plastic, a core having a helicoid screw at the outer periphery of a mold is easily detached as well as a top mold, the core having the complete helicoid screw is usable in common, and the same mold is used for the division members 31 and 32. Consequently, the molds of simple structure are obtained at relatively low cost and movement by the helicoid screw is performed smoothly without any play.

The above-mentioned thread of the lens barrel is called a helicoid thread, and has conventionally been formed by cutting a member made mostly of metal material. However, recently, for the purpose of reducing costs and weight, members having helicoid screws have been made integrally by plastic molding. For this purpose, a mold consisting of a combination of an outer mold and a core, which is divided into two along a plane including the optical axis, is used. in this case,
Particularly in the molding of a member having an internal thread, since the core has a helicoidal thread on the outer periphery, there is a problem in that the core must be removed after molding by screwing through rotation. As a way to solve this problem, the practical 1iH
Known methods include a method of making a helicoid screw partially threadless in the circumferential direction as described in Japanese Patent No. 56-145006, a method using a collapsible core from DME, and a D-mold method from Geyer. However, in 1987,
- The method described in Publication No. 145006 requires that the helicoid screw has at least half a portion without a screw,
As a result, backlash is more likely to occur, and the amount of backlash is more likely to change depending on the direction. Further, as a common problem with the above-mentioned methods, there is a problem that a step is likely to be formed on the screw due to a screw alignment error, and the structure is complicated and expensive because the outer mold is a two-piece split mold.

The present invention provides a moving mechanism in which a member having an internal thread around an optical axis and a member having an external thread are screwed together, and as one member rotates around the optical axis, the other member advances and retreats in the optical axis direction. The lens barrel is characterized in that the member having the internal thread is formed by joining two divided members in a plane parallel to the optical axis, and this structure achieves the above object. .

As shown in FIG. 2, the helicoid ring 3 consists of a divided member 3) divided into two parts in a cross section including the optical axis, and the joint is formed by engaging a bottle 33 and a hole 34 provided mutually in the cross section. This is then carried out by engaging a snap fit consisting of a right protrusion 35 and an engagement recess 36 that are mutually provided on the outer body of the cross section. Although the bin 33 is positioned in the optical axis direction, it may also be positioned in a direction perpendicular to the optical axis. Furthermore, the engagement between the right protrusion 35 and the engagement recess 36 is such that the split members 3) and 32 cannot be separated unless the right protrusion 35 is elastically deformed and opened outward. However, when the helicoid ring 3 is assembled into the lens barrel, the split member 3
) and 32 are never separated, it is possible to omit such a retaining means, or alternatively, by making the widths of the right protruding piece 35 and the engaging recess 36 the same in the optical axis direction, the dividing member 3)
It is also possible to perform positioning in the optical axis direction of and 32. In this case, the aforementioned bottle 33 and seven holes 34 become unnecessary.

If the helicoid link 3 has a split structure as described above,
When the split members 3) and 32 are made by glass molding, after molding a core with a helicoid screw on the outer periphery of each mold, the surface containing the optical axis and the pin 33 are molded.
.. Hole 34v? In the example shown, the same mold can be used for the split members 3) and 32. Can be done.

[Effects of the Invention] In the lens barrel of the present invention, since the member having the helicoid H screw is formed by joining two divided members in a plane including the optical axis, these divided members are made of plastic molded parts. The core can be easily removed in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis, the mold has a simple structure and is relatively inexpensive, and the helicoidal female thread is completely continuous. An excellent effect can be obtained in that movement is performed smoothly without any play. It goes without saying that the molding of the divided members is not limited to plastic.
