Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the renewal of a plurality of high pressure water projection holes concurrently by providing a plurality of high pressure water projection holes in a single block member and mounting the block member to a nozzle body in a free-to-detach manner. CONSTITUTION:Six high pressure water projection holes 16 are radially formed in a high pressure water projection block 12. This block 12 is detachably coupled to a nozzle body 11 formed about a slurry projection hole 13, with threads 17 and 18. Slurry and high pressure water are projected to the surface of a metal web through those projection holes 13 and 16 for its blasting. When the high pressure water projection hole 16 has worn, the aforesaid block 12 is detached from the blast nozzle body 11 for renewal.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention is a surface treatment device that sprays high-pressure water and slurry liquid to perform mechanical abrasion treatment on metal surfaces, etc., and removes scale, etc. adhering to the surface. This relates to an external mixing nozzle (blast nozzle).

Typically, external mixing nozzles in surface treatment equipment for metal webs, etc., consist of multiple high-pressure water injection holes and one or more slurry injection holes. High-pressure water and slurry liquid are separately supplied to these injection holes, and High-pressure water and slurry liquid are mixed on the projection line and projected onto the object to be treated.

When wear occurs, the pressure of the high pressure water decreases or the flow rate must be increased to maintain the pressure at a predetermined value. However, under such conditions, uniform processing is impossible. As a countermeasure for this, the high-pressure water projection part is usually made of wear-resistant material. For example, ceramic, diamond or super steel metals such as tungsten carbide are used. For this reason, nozzle tips made of these materials are often fitted into high-pressure water injection holes. Even if these wear-resistant materials are used, under severe conditions such as high water pressure or water containing suspended solids, wear may become a problem during continuous operation for long periods of time. This high pressure water hole needs to be replaced. Conventionally, the high aqua regia holes were fitted with nozzle tips, which were attached one by one to the main body using screws or the like.
