PURPOSE:To prevent intrusion of dust into a slide mechanism by providing a casing with pressurizing means for keeping the pressure in the slide mechanism higher than that in the space in the casing. CONSTITUTION:A cutting edge 12 is attached to the extreme end of a spindle 10. A casing 13 is composed of a cover member 14 and body member 15, and a slide mechanism 16 has a cover member 13 horizontally slidable a certain distance with respect to a body member 14. An exhaust pipe 17 extends from a portion of the casing body 15, and a dust collector 18 is connected to the exhaust pipe 17. An air inlet port 21 is formed at a portion of the body 15 of the casing 13 and is connected through a connecting pipe 22 to a compressor 23. The compressor 23 delivers pressurized air flow to the slide mechanism 16 to keep the pressure in the slide mechanism 16 higher than that in a space 19 in the casing 13.

16の摺動、回転のために設けられている蓋体14と本
体15との間隙部20があるため、この間隙部20から
粉塵がスライド機構部16へも侵入する。このようにス
ライド機構部16に粉塵が入り込むとスライド機構は作
動しなくなるといった欠点があった。
