Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the feeling of cool air immediately after ignition by a method wherein a cool air blow-off port is provided above a hot-air blow-off port and a damper, opened when a necessary time has elapsed after starting operation, is provided in either the cold-air blow-off port or the path of cold air. CONSTITUTION:When the heater is ignited and the combustion thereof is started, the temperatures of a combustion tube 5, the intermediate plate 12 of a duct and a lower plate 6 are risen and the temperature of hot-air, blow-off from the hot-air blow-off port 13b of a front plate, is risen. When the temperature of the hot-air becomes higher than a given temperature, a thermistor 19 detects it, the damper 14 directly connected to a stepped motor 15 is turned, the cold-air blow-off port 13a is opened and a part of air from a fan 10 is blown off into a room through a cold air path 13 consisting of the intermediate plate 12 of duct and an upper plate 9 of the same. When the switch of the heater is put OFF, the stepped motor 15 is turned reversely to the initial position thereof and the damper 14 is closed.

An example of the above-mentioned conventional technology will be described below with reference to the drawings. 6 and 6 show a conventional hot air fan. In FIG. 5, 1 is a burner that burns fuel. Reference numeral 2 denotes a cylindrical combustion tube which covers the burner 1 and is open at the top, the lower end of which is connected to the seven rungs of the burner 1 and the duct lower plate 3. The duct lower plate 3 forms a box with the duct upper plate 4 placed thereon, and is connected to an air outlet 5 and a blower 6. Further, the combustion tube 2 opened into the duct faces the blower 6 and the air outlet 5. In the hot air fan configured as described above, high-temperature combustion gas burned in the burner 1 is released into the duct from the upper opening of the combustion tube 2, mixed with the air sent from the blower 6, and becomes hot air. The operation of the warm air fan configured as above will be described below. First, when the switch 17 of the appliance is turned on, the burner motor 2 and pump 3 operate to supply fuel and air to the burr section 1. The burner section 1 is ignited and burned by an igniter 4 provided nearby. At the same time, the motor 11 installed at the rear of the outer box
rotates and air is sent into the wind cylinder 9 and the cold air passage 13. The combustion gas in the burner section 1 passes through the combustion tube 5 and the duct middle plate 1
2 and the duct lower plate 6, the air is mixed with the air sent from the rear fan 10, and the hot air outlet 1 of the front plate is emitted.
It is blown out from the bottom of 3b. On the other hand, a damper 14 provided near the cold air outlet 13a of the cold air passage 13 formed by the duct top plate 9 and the duct middle plate 12 is positioned to block the cold air passage 13, as shown in FIG.

After a while after the appliance ignites and burns, the temperature of the combustion tube 5, the duct middle plate 12, and the lower plate 6 becomes high, and the temperature of the warm air blown out from the hot air outlet 13b of the front plate becomes high. When this hot air reaches a certain temperature or higher, the thermistor 19 senses this, the comparator 20 turns ON, and at the same time the transistor 21 turns ON. As a result, current flows through the relay 22, turning on the relay contact, rotating the step motor 15, rotating the damper 14 directly connected to the step motor 15, and opening the cold air outlet 13a. When the cold air outlet 13a is opened, a part of the air sent from the 7-ring 10 reaches the duct middle plate 12.
The cold air is blown into the room through a cold air passage 13 formed by the duct top plate 9. When the appliance is switched off, the step motor 15 reverses to its original position and closes the damper 14. That is, the damper 14 is set to be in the closed state.

FIG. 4 is a circuit diagram showing a second embodiment of the present invention. A timer 27 is provided in place of the temperature detection method of the first embodiment, and when a certain period of time elapses after the appliance is turned on, a timer contact 28 connected in series to the step motor 15 turns the step motor 15. The damper 14 directly connected to the step motor 15 is rotated to open the cold air passage 13, thereby eliminating the feeling of cold air at the time of startup.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention provides a cold air outlet above the hot air outlet, and a damper is provided in the cold air outlet or the cold air passage, so that the cold air outlet or the cold air passage is closed for a certain period of time after the appliance starts operating. By closing the door and opening it after a certain period of time, it is possible to eliminate the discomfort caused by cold air immediately after the appliance is operated, and also to prevent the rising air of hot air during normal times when the hot air becomes hot and is blown into the room. The hot air can be guided to every corner of the room while being suppressed by the cold air, and its effects are great, such as eliminating unevenness in the top and bottom temperatures in the room and making comfortable hot air heating possible.
