Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency by detecting the abnormality through monitoring of product information moving condition and product detecting time of sort control commanding unit caused through motion of products on carrying/sorting line thereby automatically correcting the product information in sort control commanding unit. CONSTITUTION: In sort control commanding unit 6, a sort control command 2, a sort information command 4 and a passage information command 5 are fed from a product detector 11 through a process input unit to a branch operating circuit while a product sorting information 1 is taken into a product carrying register from a product type recognizer 10. The branch operating circuit will execute operation in accordance to specific program on the basis of said informations 2, 4, 5 to decide existence of abnormality. Upon finding of abnormality, the product information file in product carrying register is updated to produce an automatic abnormality correcting command thus to return through a closed loop carrier 12 to product arranging unit 8 and to perform sorting again. With such arrangement, the sorting/carrying work efficiency can be improved.

For example, in a product transport sorting device using a sorting control command device in a conventional logistics system,
As shown in Publication No. 34, 1 conveyance and sorting involves the movement of products along a line. The movement signal is input to the sorting control command device, and the storage position of the product information in the sorting control command device is used to move the product. The common method is to move the product along with the movement of the product, but in order to detect abnormality in product transport, it is necessary to recognize that the product is moving abnormally at a specific position on the line during transport and sorting. It is necessary to input the specific information to be obtained into the sorting control command device, which causes a reduction in the efficiency of conveyance and sorting.

In addition, due to the detection of an abnormality in product transportation, it is necessary to stop the transportation/sorting line, etc., and correct the stored information in the sorting control command device. It was necessary to operate the transport and sorting lines. As a result, a decline in equipment operating rates was unavoidable.

The present invention detects abnormality in product transport and automatically corrects product information in the sorting control command device without stopping the transport/sorting line. As a means of detecting abnormalities in product transportation, transportation and sorting follow the movement of products on the line.
It monitors the movement state and the detection time of the product detector when moving product information within the sorting control command device. In addition, as a means to automatically correct the product information in the sorting control command device, the product information before the detection of a transport abnormality is deleted, and the products on the line are transported and sorted again through a closed-loop transport device. is placed on the line.
