Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the setting of a seat belt as well as to aim at improvements in its reliability, by installing such a thin band as having flexural rigidity and being high in tensile strength, in the central part of a cross section, while winding the seat belt, made up of coating an outer surface of the band with cloth, on a recoil roller. CONSTITUTION:A seat belt 1 holding the chest of a driver is made so as to be rolled in a recoil roller 2 and to be delivered by a driving roller 3 and a driven roller 4. And the the seat belt 1 is made up of installing a steel band 5 in the central part and of coating this band 5 with cloth. And, another seat belt 13 holding a driver's waist is connected to a tip metal device 7 of the seat belt 1, and with tension of the belt 13, forward movement of the belt 1 is curved to some extent, leading it into a receiving part 12, and it is automatically locked to a lock metal device 12. With this constitution, the setting of the seat belt 1 is easily performable and, what is more, its reliability is improvable.

(Prior Art) Seat belts are extremely important in protecting the lives of not only drivers but also passengers from traffic accidents, and in some countries overseas they are legally required to be worn. Even in Japan, people are clamoring to wear seatbelts, but in reality it only accounts for about 10 to 20%, and even though seatbelt devices are installed in each +1, the usage rate is extremely low. The first reason for this low usage rate is that they are cumbersome, and people cannot spend the few seconds it takes to put them on.

Nowadays, devices have been developed that automatically inflate air bags to protect the driver's life in the event of a major collision without the need to wear a seatbelt, but this device itself is costly. Not only is there a problem with reliability (high), but there are also problems with reliability. In other words, there remains anxiety as to whether the air bag will operate reliably in the event of an unknown accident, and if the system is inspected every time the car is driven or periodically, the current seat belt system This is more troublesome and it is impossible to use such an air bag.

(Problems to be solved by the present invention) As described above, with conventional seat belt devices, it is troublesome to wear a seat belt even if it only takes a few seconds.
Air bags have no operational reliability in the event of an accident, and regular inspections would be more troublesome than wearing seatbelts, so it is impossible to force ordinary people to do so. This means that there is a problem. The present invention is aimed at solving these problems and provides a seat belt device that can be worn for any occasion and does not leave any problems regarding reliability.

(Means for resolving the problem) Seat belts are meant to protect human lives, and they must not leave any concerns as to whether or not they will operate in the event of an accident. It is not possible to improve the rate of seatbelt use if it becomes difficult to drive with seatbelts on. The seatbelt device according to the present invention was developed with emphasis on these two points, and its basic form is the seatbelt device currently installed and used in ilts, and the seatbelt automatically adjusts by pressing a button. Can be worn. 1: It is configured properly. That is, the seat belt itself is not made of a conventional cloth having extremely high flexibility and high tensile strength, but is instead made of a thin steel band or the like and coated with a cloth to give it some degree of rigidity. Therefore, a seatbelt with a certain bending rigidity can be fed from one side by a roller to reach the locking point on the other side. This is done using a seatbelt and rollers.

The seatbelt is wound around two parts of the inside of the car, like a tape measure, and has a tip fitting attached to the tip, which can be slipped on and off. A conventional cloth seat belt that holds the waist part is connected to the lower part of the inside of the car.

(Example) FIG. 1 shows one form of a seat belt device according to the present invention. As is clear from FIG.
A system is adopted in which the force is caught in the A seat belt (rolling roller Q) that holds the driver's chest, and then sent out using the driving roller (J-ra 0) and the driven roller (4'). Since it is sent out by the seat belt (C is the driving roller U) and the driven roller (4'),
The cross section is shown in Figure 2 with a steel band in the center)
The steel band (5) is coated with cloth (θ.Of course, the steel band) is used to add bending rigidity and tensile strength to the A seat belt (C). Instead of steel bands, it is also possible to use bands made of composite materials, which have been used in many ways in recent years.

Therefore, the end fitting (7) connects the B seat belt (/3) that holds the waist, and the tension of the B seat belt (/J) curves the progression of the L A seat belt (C). The B seat belt (/J) is not a steel band (5); it is made of cloth like a conventional seat belt and has a length of 1.
By making the length from the tip fitting (7) of the B seat belt (/3) constant to the guide roll (/left), the tip fitting 11
