【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 左右のドアオープニングフランジ前端から
前方へ延びる左右のカウルサイドパネルと、該左
右のカウルサイドパネル間で車幅方向に延びるよ
うに配設されたカウルインナパネルとを備えた車
両用のステアリング支持構造において、第１支持
部材と第２支持部材と第３支持部材を有し、前記
第１支持部材は、バー状であつて、前記カウルイ
ンナパネルに沿つてほぼ水平に延び、両端部がそ
れぞれ前記左右のカウルサイドパネルに固定され
ており、前記第２支持部材は、一端がカウルサイ
ドパネルに固定され、そこから前記第１支持部材
に沿つて前記ステアリングを越えた位置まで延び
る第１部分と、この第１部分の内端から前方また
は下方に折曲して延び、先端が前記カウルインナ
パネルまたはフロアに固定された第２部分とから
なり、前記第３支持部材は、前記ステアリングか
ら左右に前記第１支持部材に沿つてほぼ水平に延
びる第１部分と、該第１部分の両端から折曲して
前記第２支持部材の第２部分に延びる方向と同方
向に延び、先端がそれぞれ前記カウルインナパネ
ルまたはフロアに固定された第２部分と第３部分
とからなり、前記ステアリングが前記第支持部
材、前記第２支持部材の前記第１部分および第３
支持部材の第１部分に固定された車両用ステアリ
