Abstract

PURPOSE:To expand each passage of fluid completely even if the pressure drop of the passage is small and to utilize the whole surface of the filter medium effectively by providing two passages of the fluid having different size of the passages by slackening sewing thread for combining confronting two parts of the passage and changing the position for beginning seing alternately. CONSTITUTION:Passage 17, 17', 17'' for dust-contg. air are provided to pockets 11 comprising a filter medium 14 and nonwoven fabric 15 with sewing thread 16, 16'. Since the sewing thread 16, 16' are slackened, the pockets 11 are easily expanded even if the pressure drop is small. By the combination of long slackening sewing thread and short slackening thread 16' in the vertical direction of the pockets 11 alternately, the sectional shape of the pockets is made to a complex shape having recesses and projections. Thus, the dust-contg. air is more completely contacted with the filter medium 14, and dusts are collected uniformly by the whole surface of the filter medium.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a pocket filter. A conventionally well-known pocket filter will be explained with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. (1) consists of a bag-like filter element having an open end (2) and a flow path (3) for dust-containing air. This pocket is made up of a large number of parallel headers arranged in parallel, each with its open end (2) fixed to a common header (4) with adhesive. The filter element of the polynet (1) is composed of a filter medium (5) and a thin non-woven fabric (6), and the non-woven fabric (6) covers the outer surface of the filter medium (5).
is protected. As shown in Figure 2, the pocket flow path (3) is formed by sewing the opposing filter media (5) with sewing thread (8), and the sewing is performed at positions where the +l+ = J method of the pocket is evenly divided. What is the flow path (3)?
They have almost the same shape, and the opposing filter media (5) are in contact with each other at the sewn portion. &l header (4)
This is done continuously from a more appropriately distant position to the end of the pocket, and a loop (for hanging the pocket) is provided at the end of the pocket.
9) is attached.

In the pocket filter configured as above,
Normally, dust-containing air is evenly distributed and sucked through each opening end (2) provided in the header (4), and the dust-containing air is sucked into the pocket (1).

' There are cases where the tube L is not well bulged and the dust-containing air only flows into some pockets.
Even if the pressure loss increases, some pockets remain where λ dust air does not flow. Furthermore, even under normal conditions, if a pocket swells, it will come into contact with the adjacent pocket and restrict the flow of dust-containing air and filtered clean air, making it impossible to use the entire area of the filter medium effectively and increasing pressure loss. This reduced the amount of dust retained and shortened the life of the filter.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems by alternately combining sewing threads, providing passages of at least two different sizes, and further altering the stitching start positions of the sewing threads in these passages. By making these differences, even when pressure loss is low, each pocket flow path can be completely inflated and dust can be collected on the entire surface of the filter medium.

To provide a self-supporting pocket-type filter in which every corner of the filter medium is used as an effective filtration surface, the amount of dust retained is increased, the life of the filter is extended, and the filter is self-supporting.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 4 to 7. (11) is a pocket attached to the support frame (work 2) and incorporated into the header (131).The pocket support frame (12) is mechanically caulked with the adjacent pocket support frame (12) and fixed tightly. The pocket (1) is composed of a filter 14 (14) and a thin nonwoven fabric (15), and the nonwoven fabric C5) covers the outside of the filter medium (14) to protect it. are doing. The pocket (11) becomes very easy to swell, eliminating the disadvantage of the pocket bulging in the conventional state of low pressure loss, and making it possible to effectively utilize the entire area of the filter medium (14). In addition, sewing thread (16), (I[i'

and one with short sag (approximately 25 steel/m>).
By alternately combining the pockets (11) in the vertical direction, the cross-sectional shape of the pockets is made complicated with unevenness, as shown in Fig. 5, and the dust-containing air and the filter material (14) are reduced compared to conventional ones. It is designed to be shaped so that it can be easily contacted so that dust can be collected uniformly throughout the filter medium (14).

The second widest channel (17) from the top and bottom ends, and the narrow channel (17'') in the center of the pocket.
) compared to the header (13), the dust-containing air tends to concentrate in the center of the conventional pocket, and the flow paths provided at the top and bottom of the pocket do not contain the dust-containing air. This eliminates the phenomenon that it is difficult for dust to flow in, and allows dust-containing air to flow uniformly into the entire pocket. As a result, the entire area of the filter medium (14) is effectively utilized, and dust is evenly captured by the filter medium (14). This results in lower pressure loss, higher dust retention, and lower dust retention than conventional filters.
This makes long life possible.

Furthermore, the flow path (17) is wide due to the inflow of dust-containing air.
The pocket (11) can be made to stand on its own even in a state where the pocket (11) is greatly swollen and has a low rolling pressure loss as it becomes the core, and even when the air volume is less than the rated air volume.

In this way, the present invention makes it possible to effectively utilize the entire area of the filter medium by simply changing the conventional method of sewing threads, and achieves a high dust retention amount and a long service life. Furthermore, the practical effect of making the pocket independent is enormous.
