Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the novel titled mechanism, which eliminates flexible hydraulic piping such as rubber hoses or the like, by a very simple means wherein a hydraulic pressure generator is made reciprocatingly into an integral body with a heavy-duty lock near a hydraulic cylinder in a movable die mounting platen. CONSTITUTION:A movable die mounting platen 1 is shiftably fitted onto tie bars 4 and 4 so as to provide opposite to a stationary mold mounting platen 3. Locking devices 5 and 5 are arranged at the back corners of the movable die mounting platen 1 a hydraulic-actuated switch gear 6 is arranged at the back center of the platen 1 and at a fixed platen 2. A heavy-duty lock 7 consists of a hydraulic cylinder 8 provided in the interior of the movable die mounting platen 1, a locking ram 9 and a clamping plate 10.
