である。第５丙は本考案の他の実施例の側面図である。 図中、１はプラテン、２は印刷ヘッド、３は印刷部、８
は用紙供給ロール、９は印刷用紙、１０．１１はバック
テンションアーム、１４はバー、１６は突起、１７は光
電センサ、１８．１９はマイクロスイッチ、Ｌは検出光
である。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 印刷用紙の供給ロールと印刷部との間に用紙の繰出しを
    安定化させるバックテンションアームが設けられている
    プリンタにおいて、バックテンションアームの揺動量を
    検出するセンサが設けられており、該アームの揺動量に
    よりロール紙の用紙切れを検出することを特徴とする、
    情報処理装置のプリンタにおけるロール紙の用紙切れ検
    出装置。
