カセット内に収納され且つその前面開口部から外方に露
呈した垂直磁化用の磁気テープに記録再生を行なう垂直
磁気記録再生装置であって、前記カセット内にその磁気
テープの裏面側に対向した状態で補助用磁気コアを配す
ると共に、該補助用磁気コアに磁気テープの上下端側か
ら開口部側に向かって延びる延出部を設け、記録再生時
に該延出部を介して補助用磁気コアが磁気コアと磁気的
に結合されて閉磁路を形成するようにした事を特徴とす
