側の側面に形成し該側面と対向するドアの端部裏面と密
着してシール作用をなす中空シール部を有するウェザス
トリップにおいて、トリム部の開口端にシールリップを
設けてこれと対向する車両ボデーのドア開口面に密着せ
しめ、中空シール部を車外方向へ突出する頂角部および
前後方向へそれぞれ突出する角部を有する多角形断面形
状に形成し、ドアが閉じられたときに頂角部がドア端部
裏面で押付けられて中空シール部が前後方向に押広げら
れ、上記能の二つの角部がそれぞれ車両ボデーのドア開
口面およびドア端部裏面に形成した段部に圧接されるよ
