This sheet-like material itself does not have satisfactory elasticity, but in order to use the sheet-like material as the exterior material and to reduce the bulk when worn and absorbed, it can be used as a liquid-absorbing component. Sanitary products that are made ultra-thin using materials such as so-called crepe water-absorbing paper with a reduced crepe application rate, compressed pulverized pulp (floss-like), and water-insoluble water-absorbing and swelling polymers have poor overall elasticity, resulting in the so-called stiffness. is weak.

Therefore, these sanitary products tend to twist when worn, making it difficult to maintain proper wearing conditions, and lack elasticity, resulting in lack of softness. The main object of the present invention is to provide a sanitary product which makes it possible to eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages at once by using a fiber-embedded foam as the exterior material, and to achieve this object. The configuration will be described below based on the illustrated embodiment. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the fiber-embedded foam 1, which is the exterior material of the present invention, preferably includes a flexible foam sheet 2 having open cells and a fiber length of 100 Wt.
, / WL or below, it consists of a hydrophilic fiber group and a hydrophobic fiber group 3, either alone or in combination.

The fiber group 3 is planted so as to be distributed almost uniformly on one side and/or both sides of the sheet 2 without using an adhesive, and to reach the inside from those surfaces. The fiber-planted foam 1 is used as an exterior material for sanitary products.

For example, as shown in FIG. 3, a waterproof sheet, a synthetic resin film, a waterproof sheet, a synthetic resin film, etc. on the lower surface and both sides of the liquid absorbent 4 made of crepe absorbent paper, pulverized (floss-like) pulp, water-insoluble and water-absorbent swelling polymer, etc. A liquid-proof layer 5 made of a laminate of the film and paper or nonwoven fabric is disposed, and the entire layer is covered with a fiber-embedded foam 1, and both ends 6 of the layer are welded together. Further, the fiber-embedded foam 1 can be easily manufactured, for example, by the following method.

That is, the required hardness, preferably JIS-K63Ol
A wide flexible elastic foam sheet 2 is placed on a non-porous support with a hardness of 50 or more, and a web made of fiber groups 3 having approximately the same width is placed on top of the sheet, and a jet pressure is applied from above the web. 15k9/c! i or more, a high-pressure liquid consisting of atomized liquid, etc., which is sprayed in the form of particles from a fine liquid spray nozzle ejected from a small orifice, alone or in combination, is sprayed onto the web and sheet. In this way, due to both the jetting of the high-pressure liquid from above and the reflection of the high-pressure liquid that collided with the support surface, the fiber group 3 remains almost uniformly distributed on the sheet 2 and is almost completely inside the sheet 2. buried evenly. After performing the high-pressure liquid treatment in this manner, the object to be treated is dried and cut into appropriate sizes. Incidentally, when performing such a treatment, it is preferable that the sheet 2 has a thickness of 57 nm or less, and if it is thicker, the elasticity of the sheet 2 will cause the fiber group 3 to be efficiently inserted into the inside of the sheet 2. It is difficult to bury and has low permeability to body fluids, making it undesirable as an exterior material. Further, the fiber density of the fiber group 3 is not particularly limited, but the finer the denier, the more preferable it is. As described above, the present invention
Since the fiber-embedded foam 1 is used as an exterior material for sanitary products, it is extremely thin. Shaped sanitary products also have excellent flexibility and elasticity, and do not twist when worn, making it possible to eliminate the drawbacks of conventional sanitary products mentioned above at once.

Moreover, in the fiber-embedded foam 1, the hydrophilic fiber group, the hydrophobic fiber group, or the mixed fiber group 3 are almost uniformly distributed inside and outside the flexible foam sheet 2, so that it can be used as a sanitary product. The outer surface has a cloth-like feel, and body fluids absorbed in the absorbent body 4 are released by pressure and are less likely to ooze out from the surface of the sanitary product. It also depends on the amount of fiber-planted foam 1 used.
In sanitary products that were used relatively little,
Since the surface of the foam sheet 2 comes into pressure contact with the wearer's shorts, etc., there is an effect that there is little deviation from the pressure contact position due to the friction effect, and this is extremely useful for practical use. Example As shown in FIG. 4 and FIG.
, 7, and through the guide roll 8, JIS-K6
A saw made of stainless steel with a hardness of 100 by 3Ol is guided onto each non-porous roll support 9 having regular intervals, and sandwiched between tension rolls 10, 10, and the speed ratio of the tension rolls JIO, IO to the delivery rolls 7, 7 is set. While the rayon fiber obtained by roll carding was stretched to 130% higher.

The thickness of the foam sheet 2 and the basis weight of the web 12 were as shown in the table below. In addition, the * mark in the table below indicates that after the web 12 was placed on the foam sheet 2 and treated, it was turned over, the web 12 was placed on top of it again, and the sheet was treated with the water jet. As shown in FIG. 6 as a partially enlarged schematic cross-sectional view, the fiber-embedded foam 1 obtained by the treatment has a fiber group 12 of a web 12 on the upper surface of the foam sheet 2.
It was confirmed that the web 12 was distributed and reached the inside of the foam, and as shown in a partially enlarged schematic cross-sectional view in FIG. It was confirmed that the fiber group 12a of the web 12 was distributed on the lower surface of the sheet 2 and reached the inside thereof, and that the distribution density of the fiber group 12a inside the sheet 2 was almost double that shown in FIG. .

In addition, in the table below, NO. The thickness of the foam sheet in 4 is original i1
In the case of a web with a web area weight of 20y/TTt, the sheet is so thick that the fibers of the web cannot be sufficiently embedded in it.
In addition, the water permeability was lower than that of nonwoven fabrics conventionally used as exterior materials for sanitary products, making them inferior products.
