In view of these points, the present inventor conducted various studies on a moxibustion device that is inexpensive, small, easy to handle, and non-hazardous, and found that zeolite can be used as an adsorbent such as conventionally known alumina and silica gel. The present invention was achieved by discovering that when water is brought into contact with zeolite, it is heated to a temperature suitable for moxibustion, since the adsorption heat for water is 2 to 3 times greater than that of zeolite.

This is what we do.

Zeolite can be easily dehydrated by heating it to about 150 to 600°C using a general dryer, electric furnace, etc., and it is desirable that the water content in the zeolite is 5 wt% or less.

It is preferable to use one that takes heat transfer into consideration. Further, the container is desirably sealed in order to prevent the zeolite from absorbing moisture and to prevent the heat of adsorption from dissipating as water vapor after contacting water with the zeolite.

When water is added into the container, the temperature at the bottom of the container rises to about 70°C, and the heated state of about 60 to 70°C continues for about 5 minutes. Furthermore, when the bottom of the heated container was brought into close contact with various acupuncture points on the body, a warming effect was observed. At this time, if activated alumina and silica gel are used instead of Molecular Sibes 4A, the temperature at the bottom of the container will only be heated to about 35-45°C, and the moxibustion effect will not be obtained even if it is brought into close contact with the acupuncture points on the body. I couldn't help it.
