The present invention provides a moxibustion device that is convenient to carry, easy to handle, and safe. In recent years, the effectiveness of Oriental medicine has been rediscovered, and treatments such as acupuncture and moxibustion have become widely popular.

Among these treatment methods, warm moxibustion leaves no moxibustion marks and can be performed relatively easily, and various moxibustion instruments are manufactured and sold.

However, these devices are expensive, inconvenient to carry, and require care in handling as they use electricity or fire. In view of these points, the present inventor conducted various studies on a moxibustion device that is inexpensive, small, easy to handle, and non-hazardous, and found that zeolite can be used as an adsorbent such as conventionally known alumina and silica gel. The present invention was achieved by discovering that when water is brought into contact with zeolite, it is heated to a temperature suitable for moxibustion, since the adsorption heat for water is 2 to 3 times greater than that of zeolite.

That is, in the present invention, a small container is filled with dehydrated zeolite, water is brought into contact with the zeolite during use, the temperature of the small container is raised by the heat of adsorption generated at that time, and the container is brought into close contact with the acupuncture points of the human body to perform moxibustion treatment. This is what we do.

For example, natural products such as mordenite, clinoptilolite, and chabasite are preferably used, and synthetic products such as A-type zeolite, X-type zeolite, Y-type zeolite, and mordenite are preferably used. Zeolite can be easily dehydrated by heating it to about 150 to 600°C using a general dryer, electric furnace, etc., and it is desirable that the water content in the zeolite is 5 wt% or less.

In the present invention, the dehydrated zeolite obtained in this manner is used by filling a small container, but the container may be of any size as long as it has a volume that allows the amount of zeolite I to be filled to be 3y or more. , shape, material, etc. are not particularly limited.

For example, a metal contact surface is fitted into the front surface of an insulating plastic cylindrical container, or the side surface of a metal cylindrical container is wrapped with insulating tape. It is preferable to use one that takes heat transfer into consideration. Further, the container is desirably sealed in order to prevent the zeolite from absorbing moisture and to prevent the heat of adsorption from dissipating as water vapor after contacting water with the zeolite.

Water may come into contact with zeolite by adding water into the container using a syringe, or by wrapping the water in a thin film bag and placing it together with the zeolite in the container, and then tearing the bag by applying external pressure during use. method is adopted.

The sides of the container are kept warm with a sheet of thin polyethylene foam, and the container is sealed using a comb stopper. 2y by syringe
When water is added into the container, the temperature at the bottom of the container rises to about 70°C, and the heated state of about 60 to 70°C continues for about 5 minutes. Furthermore, when the bottom of the heated container was brought into close contact with various acupuncture points on the body, a warming effect was observed. At this time, if activated alumina and silica gel are used instead of Molecular Sibes 4A, the temperature at the bottom of the container will only be heated to about 35-45°C, and the moxibustion effect will not be obtained even if it is brought into close contact with the acupuncture points on the body. I couldn't help it.
