Abstract

PURPOSE:To restrict to employ artificial energy at the minimum limit by a method wherein solar light as well as wind power are utilized as the source of heating energy and heating by electric power, petroleum, gas or the like is added in case the solar light as well as the wind power are insufficient for the necessary heating energy. CONSTITUTION:In the hot-water heater, combined with a heater 6 heated by electric power and the heater 3 heated by receiving solar heat, an electric power obtained by a wind-powered generator 4 is utilized as an electric power source and commercial electric power, petrolium, gas or the like 5 is utilized supplementarily in case the wind power and the solar heat are insufficient. According to this method, natural energy may be utilized effectively even at night, in rainy day or the like. Accordingly, the use of artificial energy may be restricted at the minimum limit and the operating cost of the device may be reduced.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] Conventionally, water heaters have used expensive artificial energy such as electric power, oil and gas, and solar heat as natural energy as heat sources, either singly or in combination. As the price of artificial energy rises, there is a need for greater use of natural energy. The direct solar heat utilization method, which utilizes natural energy by receiving light and converting heat, is a very efficient method when the conditions are favorable, but it has the disadvantage that it is not effective at night or under rainy weather. This invention proposes a system that efficiently utilizes wind power as an auxiliary means in such cases, and further utilizes natural energy. That is, although the water heater according to the present invention has a solar light receiving plate and an electric heater made of nichrome wire as a heater, the gist of the water heater is to mainly use windmill-generated power as the electric power for the electric heater. In addition, if wind power is insufficient, it can be used as commercial electricity or 2 petroleum,
This device is designed to keep the water in the water heater at a desired temperature at all times by supplementing it with gas, etc. That is, since wind turbines are used under conditions where the wind direction and wind speed are not constant, the voltage frequency of the generated power varies, but it is directly input to the heat generator regardless of the number of power generators. When there is a shortage of wind power, naturally there is a shortage of calorific value, and when there is a shortage of sunlight, it is decided to use artificial energy such as commercial electricity and gas as an auxiliary under these conditions. The use is activated by the control circuit. This control circuit controls sunlight conditions and wind strength.

The water temperature and amount of hot water used will be constantly monitored, and the system will have the ability to decide when to activate based on statistical judgment. The tank is filled with the minimum amount of hot water that can be used at that time, and the water in the large tank is gradually heated using sunlight and wind power. This method uses an artificial energy source to heat a large amount of water in a large tank only when it is determined that there is insufficient solar or wind power. As a sensor for the observed value input to the control circuit, for example, a photodiode;
Use a wind turbine tachometer or generator voltage, a water temperature gauge, and a flow meter to measure the amount of hot water used.

In this way, wind power can be extracted as a heating energy source along with sunlight, and when solar heat cannot be used, it can be supplemented with wind power and an appropriate control circuit can be used to determine if heating energy is insufficient by the required time. In this case, we propose a hot water system that minimizes the use of artificial energy and reduces operating costs by heating with electricity 2 oil, gas, etc.
