Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain excellent picture quality by forming a light transmitting conductive layer on at least either of an original supporter made of transparent plastic and a photosensitive body, and grounding it. CONSTITUTION:The original supporter 2 is constituted by forming the transparent conductive layer 2b on a transparent plastic film 2a, and this conductive layer 2b is grounded at a couple of rolls 3a and 3b. A film type electrophotographic sensitive body 4 for contact reflection exposure is positioned under the original supporter 2 and held wound around the couple of rolls 5a and 5b, and the photosensitive body is taken up around the roll 5b every time a copying processing is finished and rewound around the roll 5a after being taken up completely to be reused. A electrostatic charge of the original supporter 2 is destaticized completely, so the excellent picture guality is obtained.

However, since the original support made of a transparent plastic film is supported by a pair of rolls so as to be able to be wound up, static charges are generated by these rolls due to friction between the document supports and friction with the surface of the document. In addition, the document support may become charged due to contact with a 1a photoreceptor whose surface is charged.

When such a charge occurs on the document support, the document is attracted to the document support by electrostatic force, and in electrophotographic copying machines that keep the document stationary and move the document support, slipping becomes extremely difficult. There is a possibility that a discharge may occur between the electrostatic latent image and the v'7+ electrostatic latent image), and the electrostatic latent image is destroyed by the electric discharge, resulting in a deterioration in image quality.

The groove structure of the present invention that achieves this object includes a document support made of a transparent plastic film, which faces the surface of the document by sandwiching the document support, and which is in close contact with the back surface of the document support at the exposure position and which is exposed from the back side. a movably supported electrophotographic photoreceptor on whose surface an electrostatic latent image is formed by irradiated light; a charging unit that charges the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor; An electrophotographic photoreceptor is sandwiched between the original surface and the exposure position, and light is irradiated onto the original surface to form a silent latent image of the original surface on the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor by means of close reflection formation. a developing section that develops the electrostatic latent image with toner;
In a compact electrophotographic copying system that includes a transfer section that transfers a toner image to a transfer medium and a fixing section that fixes the toner image to the transfer medium, at least one of the document support and the electrophotographic photoreceptor is not required. Transparent conductor that removes static electricity!
The transparent conductive layer is grounded while forming a fl panel.

An electrophotographic photoreceptor 4 in the form of a film for close reflection exposure is located below the document support 2, and both ends of the electrophotographic photoreceptor 4 are wound around a pair of rolls 5a and 5b. The situation is as follows. In this embodiment, a winding drive source (not shown) is connected to the opening 5b, and is configured to wind the electrophotographic photoreceptor 4 from the roll 5a to the roll 5b by a certain length each time a copying process is performed. However, a drive source capable of forward and reverse rotation is connected to each of the rolls 5a and 5b, and is returned to the feeding-side roll 5a each time a copying process is performed, or is fed again after being completely wound onto the winding-side roll 5b. It may be rewound onto the roll 5a on the output side and reused. Further, although not shown, the electrophotographic photoreceptor 4 may be reused as an endless belt with both ends connected.

An original support made of a transparent plastic film, which is sandwiched between the original support and faces the original surface, is in close contact with the back side of the original support at the exposure position, and an electrostatic latent image is formed on the surface by light irradiated from the back side. A movably supported electrophotographic photoreceptor is formed, a charging unit charges the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor, and the original support and the charged electrophotographic photoreceptor are sandwiched between the original surface and the electrophotographic photoreceptor. an exposure section which faces the document surface at an exposure position and forms an electrostatic latent image of the document surface on the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor by irradiating light onto the surface of the document using close-contact reflected light; A small electrophotographic copying machine comprising a developing section for transferring a toner image to a transfer medium, a transfer section for transferring a toner image to a transfer medium, and a fixing section for fixing the toner image to the transfer medium. 1. A small electrophotographic copying machine characterized in that a transparent four-electroconductive layer is formed on at least one of the foregoing to remove unnecessary charge, and the transparent conductive layer is grounded.
