More specifically, the present invention relates to an interior sound insulating material for automobile floors having excellent sound insulating properties and shape retention properties, and a manufacturing method. There is an urgent need to reduce the weight of vehicles in order to reduce their fuel consumption from the viewpoint of resource and energy conservation, and as part of these measures, front engines, front drive systems, and the use of aluminum for drive parts are beginning to be adopted. There is an urgent need for countermeasures against the noise and transmitted sound that enters the vehicle interior from the front floor.

The simplest method to meet these demands is to increase the thickness of the bituminous vibration damping material that has been used in the past and obtain a sound insulation effect through the weight effect. Therefore, it cannot be used as a measure to reduce the weight of vehicles. On the other hand, another method is to replace the backing layer of a Tabzet carpet, which is placed on the floor of an automobile in combination with cushioning material, with a thin polyethylene layer.
Attempts have been made to achieve a sound insulation effect by applying a composition comprising a vinyl acetate copolymer and a filler in a thicker layer than conventional carpets during the carpet manufacturing process.

However, in this method, the ethylene-vinyl acetate composition is applied to the back side of the carpet as a backing material to prevent the pile from ``sneaking'' (falling off).
There is a limit to its thickness, so the moldability is insufficient, and particularly when using a thick cushioning material, it is difficult to mold it into an arbitrary uneven shape. In view of these circumstances, the present inventors have arrived at the present invention as a result of intensive research, and one of the objectives is to provide a molded soundproofing material for vehicles that can be molded into any shape and has high soundproofing performance. The object of the present invention is to provide a molded soundproofing material for a vehicle, and a second object is to provide a method for manufacturing the molded soundproofing material for a vehicle.

That is, the gist of the present invention is as follows: (a) a carpet lined with a thermoplastic synthetic resin film; and (b) one or more types selected from rubbery substances, bituminous substances, and thermoplastic synthetic resins. Sound insulating sheet-like material consisting mainly of a filler and a filler (c) A cushioning material such as a bulky nonwoven fabric or needle felt containing 10 to 5% of thermoplastic synthetic resin fiber or thermoplastic synthetic resin powder is sequentially laminated. There are two types of molded soundproofing materials for vehicles:
(c) A lower mold in which a cushioning material such as a bulky nonwoven fabric or needle felt containing 10 to 5 weight percent of thermoplastic synthetic resin fiber or thermoplastic synthetic resin powder is heated to a temperature higher than the softening temperature of the thermoplastic synthetic resin. and then on the cushioning material, a sound insulating material whose main components are one or more selected from rubbery substances, bituminous substances, and thermoplastic resins and a filler. A sheet-like article is preheated and placed on the sheet-like article, and (a) a thermoplastic resin film-backed carpet is sequentially placed on the backing surface of the carpet with or without preheating. The method of manufacturing a molded soundproofing material for a vehicle includes then applying compression molding to the upper mold using a cooling mold.

The present invention significantly improves moldability and shape retention after molding by imparting a molding function to the cushion layer, and as a result, a sound insulating sheet material is created without being affected by moldability! This has the advantage of being able to freely design the thickness of the material and increasing the degree of freedom in adapting it as an interior material. (a) The thermoplastic resin film-backed carpet used as the upper layer may be, for example, a polyethylene resin-backed tufted carpet. Either synthetic fiber piles are flocked (ducted) onto a coarse base fabric using flocking material, and then a thin layer of heat-fused polyethylene is laminated, or polyethylene resin powder is sprinkled and heat-melted to allow the pile to fall off. It can be used as a material for automobile floors. The sound-insulating sheet material used as the intermediate layer of the molded sound-insulating material of the present invention is essential for the structure of the present invention, and not only has high sound-insulating performance, but also has good moldability, flexibility, heat resistance, cold resistance, and recovery. It is necessary to have various physical properties such as physical properties.

Needle felt may be obtained by needle punching a fleece made of one or a mixture of animal, vegetable and mineral discontinuous fiber materials. The thickness of the bulky nonwoven fabric and needle felt in this state is 8 to 50TL, /7TL, and the areal density is 0.4
It is preferably in the range of ~4k9/c. In the present invention, it is an essential requirement that these bulky nonwoven fabrics and needle felts contain thermoplastic synthetic resin fibers or powder in an amount of 10 to 5% based on the total weight. Alternatively, the powder material may be polyvinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride, acetate, triacetate, or the like.

In the present invention, the upper mold may be a cold mold. After being removed from the mold, the molded soundproofing material for vehicles of the present invention is obtained through final cutting. In the present invention, it is not necessarily necessary to apply the sound insulating sheet material to be placed as an intermediate layer over the entire surface of the component.
Alternatively, the shredded pieces may be narrowly placed in a focused manner according to the noise transmission path.Furthermore, the sound-insulating sheet material may be narrowly placed over the entire surface of the part, and then multiple pieces of the sound-insulating sheet-like material may be placed in the important areas. It may be placed in a narrow space.
