Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a vignette character in a positive-positive type film, by applying photographing due to transmitted light and reflected light to a positive-positive type unexposed film under a specific condition by a photoengraving camera while performing image forming treatment. CONSTITUTION:A photoengraving film having a metallic character image obtained by applying imagewise exposure and development to a photoengraving film is used as a manuscript and photographed by a photoengraving camera. The focus point of the camera is slightly gradated, and transmitted light and reflected light are used to respectively expose a positive image 30 and a nega- tive image 31. The positive image 30 and the negative image 31 are set to the positive-positive type lithographic film 37 of the same photoengraving film and exposed to perform image forming treatment. In the presence of a part 38 receiving no light irradiation, an image formed element 41 having a vignette character 40 is obtained.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for creating blank characters by surrounding each character with a line using a photographic method from a document having a single character image.

従来、袋文字は次のような工程で作成していた。Traditionally, bag letters were created using the following process.

) The character images of the inverted negative film and positive film (original) obtained in the process are aligned and positioned. At this time, one character image on the original and the inversion of the reversal negative film are surrounded by the character image, and a transparent part is created in the other part.

The present invention was developed in view of the drawbacks of the conventional method, and its gist is to provide a plate-making film comprising at least a metal thin layer and a photosensitive layer sequentially disposed on a transparent film support. A metal character image is formed by image exposure and image formation processing, and then the original is placed on the document rack of the plate-making camera. While the plate-making camera's vacuum board is covered with a positive type unexposed film, After setting the film and shifting the focus of the plate-making camera slightly from the surface of the positive-type unexposed lithographic film, the plate-making camera takes pictures using transmitted light and reflected light, respectively, and images the image on the positive-type unexposed film. The present invention relates to a method for producing a letter on a cover, which is characterized in that a letter is formed on the positive-type film by exposing the positive-type film to one image and then forming a single image on the positive-type film.

When one image is exposed and developed on this plate-making film, the second image is exposed and developed.
As shown in the figure, the metal vapor deposited layer (2) and the photosensitive resin layer (3) of the one character part (5) remain, showing the metallic layer luster, and the other parts are transparent parts made of only the polyester base (1). (

When using transmitted light for photography, as shown in Figure 6, place the light source (10) behind the original (8) as in normal photography, and insert the positive lithographic film ( 12).In this case, the resulting image is the same positive image as the image in the original (8).

On the other hand, when using reflected light, as shown in Figure 4, the light from two light sources f2U+ (2+1) is illuminated from two directions. Note that the light reflected on the metal vapor deposited layer (2) due to illumination is diffused by the diffuser plate, and the diffused light is transmitted to the lens (11).
The photo is taken by reaching the positive-positive film cone through the lens. As a result, a negative image opposite to the original (8) is obtained in the positive lithographic film (121).

As a result of further intensive study on the plate-making method described above, the present inventors have found that if such a plate-making method is applied to the production of bag letters, one bag letter can be produced quickly and inexpensively by photographic means. One invention has been completed.

Here, the line width of the cover letter (40) is the positive image VJ to be exposed.
It varies depending on the blur of (30) and negative image (3) 1.
The larger the blur width, the wider the line d] becomes. However, if the degree of blurring is too large, the edges of the image will become unsightly (because if the degree of blurring is too thick, the threshold for blackening on positive type lithographic film will not be clear), and exposure Condition 1] also becomes narrower (if there are too many exposure sources, light will wrap around to the blurred areas and no blackening will occur; if the exposure amount is too small, the entire area will be blackened).

By the way, even if the plate-making method explained with reference to FIGS. 2 and 6 uses a sheet of film with metallic character images as a document and exposes a positive image and a negative image to a negative-positive lithographic film, No image can be obtained in this negative-positive type lithographic film.

Since the present invention has the above-described configuration, it does not require an intermediate reversal film, which is always used in the production of conventional cover letters, and the cover letters can be produced in a simple process and at low cost.

A negative original having a character image to be used as a cover letter was brought into close contact with this plate-making film, and exposed for 30 seconds using a 3 kW ultra-high-pressure mercury lamp printer manufactured by Oak Manufacturing. After exposure, the image of the resist and the aluminum vapor deposited layer were etched by rubbing with a sponge in a developing solution for 1 minute and 30 seconds to obtain a metal character image in the plate-making film.
