Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は耐摩耗性に優れ、しかも使用中に黒色変質物を
生ずることのないグリース組成物、ＶＣ関する。
一般に潤滑剤は、産業機械、自動車、鉄道車両などの回
転摺動運動部を有するものに広範囲に用いられて訃り、
特に耐摩耗性を向上させるだめに硫化モリブテン等の固
体成分を添加することが行なわれている。
しかしながら、たとえばトリポード型等速ジヨイントな
どのようにニードルベアリングを構造内に有しているも
のに、このような硫化モリブデン等の固体成分を添加し
た潤滑剤を用いると、固形物がニードル部に混入するこ
とがあり、好捷しいものではなかった。
そこでこのような固体成分を使用することなく耐摩耗性
を向上させるために、ジチオリン酸亜鉛を配合する方法
が提案されているが、使用時に黒色変質物が発生し、こ
れがニードル部分に入り、ベアリングの正常な回転を阻
害するという現象がみられる場合があった。
本発明者らは、上記従来の欠点を解消するために鋭意検
剖を重ねだ。その結果、特定の配合割合で３種の添加剤
を配合したグリース組成物によれば固体成分を添加する
ことなく耐摩耗性に優れ、しかも使用中に黒色変質物を
生じないことを見出し、本発明を完成するに到った。
すなわち本発明は、基グリース１００重量部に対して、
Ａジチオリン酸亜鉛１〜４重量部、σ３）リン酸エステ
ル２〜６重量部および（Ｃ）有機スズ化合物０．５〜２
重量部を添加してなるグリース組成物を提供するもので
ある。
本発明において、基グリースとしては潤滑油基油、金属
石ケン原料および必要に応じて加える酸化防止剤、防錆
剤など各種添加剤からなるものであればよく、特に制限
はない。ここで基グリースのベース油原料となる潤滑油
基油としては特に制限はなり、ハラフィン系、ナフテン
系等の鉱油の他、ジエステル、α−オレフィン等５合成
油を用いることもできる。また、金属石ケ／原料は、ス
テアリン酸、１２−ヒドロキシステアリン酸等の脂肪酸
と、アルミニウム；カルシウム；ナトリウム、カリウム
、リチウム等のアルカリ金属およびアルカリ土類金属、
好ましくはアルカリ金属水酸化物とからなるものである
。さらに、酸化防止剤としては例えばα−ナフチルアミ
ンがちシ、防錆剤としては１３ａ−スルフォネートがあ
る。
このような基グリースとしては、とりわけリチウム石ケ
ングリースやリチウム−カルシウム石ケングリースを用
いることが好ましい。
本発明はこのような基グリース１００重量部に対して、
（２）ジチオ″１１）ン酸亜鉛１〜４重量部、［Ｆ］）
リン酸エステル２〜６重量部および（Ｑ有機スズ化合物
０．５〜２重量１部を添加、ｌｒＡ’ｔ’ｈ金赫徴とす
るものである。
本発明において、基グリースに添加するＡ成分であるジ
チオリン酸亜鉛は下記の一般式（式中　Ｒ１−Ｒ４はア
ルキル基またはアリール基を示し　Ｒ１−Ｒ４は同一で
あっても異なるものであってもよい。） で表わされる化合物であり、アルキル基としては特に制
限はないが、炭素数３〜１２のものが好ましい。寸だ、
アリール基についても制限はなく、置換アリール基も含
まれ、この場合の置換基としてはアルキル基が好ましい
。
上記一般式［Ｉ）の化合物の具体例としては、たとえば
Ｒ１−Ｒ４が第２級ヘキシル基を主成分とするもの、炭
素数５以下の第２級アルキル基を主成分とするもの、イ
ソブチル基とｎ−アミル基との混合物からなるもの、イ
ンアミル基を主成分とするもの、アルキルアリール基を
主成分とするものなどがある。より具体的には、ジオク
チルジチオリン酸亜鉛、ジインアミルジチオリン酸亜鉛
、ジヘキシルジチオリン酸亜鉛、ジインブチルジチオリ
ン酸亜鉛等が挙げられ、とりわけジオクチルジチオリン
酸亜鉛が好ましい。
上記一般式ＣＩ）で表わされるジチオリン酸亜鉛は、例
えばアルコールあるいはフェノールを５硫化リンと反応
させて得られるジチオリン酸を、さらに酸化亜鉛と反応
させることによシ得ることができる。
上記ジチオリン酸亜鉛の添加量は、基グリース１００重
量部に対して通常１〜４重量部、好ましくは２〜３重量
部である。
次に、基グリース、に添加するθ成分であるリン酸エス
テルとしては特に制限はないが、例えばトリブチルフォ
スフェート、トリオレイルフォスフェート、トリクレジ
ルフォスフェート、トリメチルフォスフニー　ト、トリ
エチル７オスフエート。
トリフェニルフォスフェート等を挙ケるコトカテきる。
これらの中でも、とりわけトリクレジルフォスフェート
、トリブチルフォスフェート、トリオレイルフォスフェ
ートが好ましい。
このリン酸エステルの添加量は、基グリース１００重量
部に対して通常２〜６重量部、好ましくは３〜４重量部
である。
−さらに本発明においては、基グリースに（Ｃ）成分と
して有機スズ化合物を添加する。ここで有機スズ化合物
としては、特開昭５５−１６５’９９７号公報、特開昭
５７−３８９４号公報、特公昭５３−７４２’　１号公
報等に記載されている各種有機スズ化合物を使用するこ
とができる。具体例を示すと、例えばモノメチルスズト
リス（ブチルメルカプタイド）、モノメチルスズトリス
（チオグリコール酸オクチル）、ジメチルスズビス（β
−メルカフ。
トプロピオン酸オクチル）、モツプチルスズトリス（オ
クチルメルカプタイド）、ジブチルスズビス（チオグリ
コール酸オクチル）、ジブチルスズビス（チオグリコー
ル酸オレイル）、ジブチルスズビス（β−メルカプトプ
ロピオン酸／クゴヘキシル）、ジヘキシルスズビ冬オク
チルチオグリコレ−１・、モノオクチルスズトリス（チ
オグリコール酸インオクチル）、モノオクチルスズトリ
ス（チオグリコール酸メトキシブチル）１ジオクチルス
ズビス（ラウリルメルカプタイド）、ジオクチルスズビ
スオクチルチオグリコレート、ジオクチルスズビス（チ
オグリコール酸インオクチル）。
ジオクチルスズビス（チオグリコール酸メトキシブチル
）、ジオクチルスズビス（β−メルカプトプロピオン酸
オクチル）、ジオクチルスズビス（β−メルカプトプロ
ピオン酸メトキシブチル）。
ジオクチルスズビスメトキンブチルチオプロピオネ−１
−、ト１）オクチルスズモノ（チオグリコール酸ヘキシ
ル）、ジラウリルスズビス（ラウリルメルカプタイド）
、ジラウリルスズビス（チオグリコール酸ベンジル）等
を挙げることができる。これらの中でも、とりわけジオ
クチルスズビスオクチルチオグリコレート、ジオクチル
スズビスオクチルチオグリコレート、ジブチルスズビス
メ１、キンブチルチオプロピオネートが好ましい。
この有機スズ化合物の添加量は、基グリース１００重量
部に対して通常０．５〜２重量部、好ましくは０．７〜
１．５重量部である。
なお、本発明においては基グリース１００重量部に対し
て、　、（Ａｌ　、　（［３＋および（Ｃ）成分を上記
の如く特定割合で配合することが必要であるが、特に各
成分が下記の関係を有するように配合することが好まし
い。
（２）成分＋（１３）成分≧４重量部 （Ｃ）成分／（５）成分≧１／４ このような割合で（Ａ）、’（Ｂ）および（Ｃ１成分を
配合することにより、各成分が相乗的に作用して一層優
れたグリース組成物を得ることができる。
また、本発明は上記の如く、基グ１ノースに＾。
０３１およびＣ１成分を添加してなるものであるが、基
グリースの原料である潤滑油基油および金属石ケン原料
でケン化、脱水、ゲル化後に（２）、０３）および（０
成分を添加してグリース組成物を製造することが好まし
い。
本発明のグリース組成物は耐摩耗性に優れ、しかも使用
中に黒色変質物を生ずることがない。
捷だ、本発明のグリース組成物は硫化モリブデン等の固
体成分を用いていないだめ、固形物が“ニードルベアリ
ングのニードル部などに混入して閉塞させるおそれもな
い。したがって、特に等速ジヨイントに用いる場合にも
トリポード型とバーフィールド型など機構の如何を問わ
ずに使用する１ことができるという実用上の効果を有す
る。
さらに、上記の如く、本発明のグリース組成物は硫化モ
リブデン等の固体成分を用いていない゛ため、容易に均
一混合することができる。したがって、製造も容易であ
るという特色を有する。
それ故、本発明のグリース組成物は産業機械分野、自動
車産業分野等において有効に利用することができる。
以下、本発明を実施例によシ説明する。
実施例１〜１３および比較例１〜８ １２−ヒドロキシステアリン酸のリチウム石ケン８．５
重量裂、ベース油原料（４０°Ｃにおいて約９２　ｃｓ
ｔの粘度を有するパラフィン系５００ニユートラルオイ
ル）　９０．５重量％および酸化防止剤（２，６−ジタ
ージャリーブチルパラメチルフェノール）１重量％から
基グリースを製造した。この基グリース１００重量部に
、（２）成分としてジチオリン酸亜鉛、０成分としてリ
ン酸エステル、（Ｃ）成分として有機スズ化合物を第１
表の如く加えてグリース組成物を得た。
得られたグリース組成物についてチムヶン試験（ＡＳＴ
Ｍ　Ｄ　２７８２に準拠、荷重１０　ＬＢＳで８時間）
および７アレソクス試験（ＡＳＴＭ　Ｄ　２６７０に準
拠、荷重４００　ＬＢＳで２時間）を行なった。
結果を第１表に示す。
なお、実施例２，４および比較例３で得られたグリース
組成物についてはさらに実機１−　ＩＪボート型等速ジ
ヨイントで耐久試験を行なった。試験条件および結果を
以下に示す。
実車使用のトリポード型等速ジヨイントを取伺角１０°
、トルク２０／ｌ−ｍ、回転数４０　Ｏｒ、ｐ、ｍ、。
運転時間１００時間の条件で試験し、これを分解して内
部の状態を観察した。
実施例２および４で得られたグリース組成物を用いた場
合には、ジヨイント摩耗はほとんと認められず、しかも
黒色変質物はなかった。
これに対して、比較例３で得られたグリース組成物を用
いた場合にはジヨイント摩耗は少なかったが、黒色変質
物が多量に発生していノζ。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）　基グリース１００重量部に対して、へジチオリ
    ン酸亜鉛１〜４重量部、　Ｑ３＋　ＩＪン酸エステル２
    〜６重量部およびＣ１有機スズ化合物０．５〜２重量部
    を添加してなるグリース組成物。
