  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 原稿走査情報を光電変換してメモリに記憶し、記憶した
    情報を信号処理する画像情報処理装置において、 プラテン上に置かれる定型サイズの原稿領域の外側の位
    置に対応し、かつ、前記定型サイズより１サイズ大きい
    原稿領域の内側の位置に対応してプラテンカバーの原稿
    面に設けられた原稿サイズ検知模様と、 原稿走査によって原稿情報とともに前記原稿サイズ検知
    模様を所定のアドレスに記憶する記憶手段と、 該記憶手段が記憶した前記アドレスに基いて原稿サイズ
    を判定する原稿サイズ判定手段と、から構成されること
    を特徴とする原稿サイズ検知装置。
