Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the moving forward and backward and the directional control by driving independently each driving wheel with respective air motors. CONSTITUTION:A freewheel 12 is pivoted at the central part of the front end of a frame 10. And a couple of driving wheels 14 and 16 are pivoted on both sides of the frame 10. Air motors 18 and 28 are loaded at the rear end of the frame 10. The sewage sucking apparatus is moved forward by operating 4-port 3-position valves 42 and 50, and rotating normally the air motors 18 and 28, and moved backward by rotating reversely the air motors 18 and 28. And the directional control of the sewage sucking apparatus is carried out by driving one of the air motors 18 and 28, or by making differences in the number of revolutions between the air motors 18 and 28.

Conventionally, a traveling type filth suction device has been proposed that uses an electric motor as the drive source, but if such an electric motor is used as the drive source, the filth suction device itself will have electrical instrumentation parts. is enclosed in a sealed box to prevent water and electrical leakage. Therefore, such a conventional filth suction device has a disadvantage in that a weight is provided to cancel the buoyancy of the closed box when traveling underwater, making it inconvenient for transportation, maintenance, and inspection in a narrow space.

In order to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional traveling filth suction device using an electric motor as a drive source, a traveling filth suction device driven by an air drive source has been proposed. However, the conventional waste suction device driven by an air drive source is configured as a four-wheel drive type with a pair of front wheels at the front and a pair of rear wheels at the rear, and is driven by the rear wheels while being steered by the front wheels. However, the drawback was that the drive and steering operation mechanisms were complicated.

The operation of the embodiment of the traveling filth suction device according to the present invention constructed as described above is as follows. First, to advance the waste suction device, use the 4-boat 3-position valve 42.50.
to rotate the air motor 18.28 forward, and operate the 4-port 3-position valve 42. to rotate the air motor 18.28 forward.
This is done by operating the air motor 50 to reverse the air motor 18.28. Further, the direction control of the dirt suction device is performed by driving either the air motor 18 or the air motor 28, or by creating a difference in rotation speed between the air motors 18 and 28.
