殺菌可能な2軸延伸された複合フィルム製の袋内に内容
物を充填後特徴のある新規なインパルスシーラーにより
包装体とした後談包装体をボイル殺菌することによりシ
ール部の少ない内容物に密着した包装体を得る製造方法
に関する。

従来のィンパルスシール方法としてはリボンヒーターを
用いてシールする方法、丸線ヒーターによりシール・切
断する方法、下側にリボンヒーター、上側に加熱してな
い丸線状鉄線によりシール・切断する方法があるが、本
発明の包装体を得るためのィンパルスシール方法はこれ
らの方法と異なり新規な効果のあるシール方法である。
つまりリボンヒーターのみでシールする場合IJボンヒ
ーター1とシール後のフィルムをカットするカッター2
間の距離が1仇肋近くあるため非シール部3が皿奴近く
生じる為包装体をボイル殺菌した場合この非シール部分
が収縮し硬くなるため見ばえが悪くなると共にこの部分
が他の包装体にふれた場合他の包装体をつき破るケース
があり非常に問題があった。

菌した場合シール部が部分的に破れたりして保存性に問
題があった、更に下側にリボンヒーター1、上側に加熱
してない丸線状鉄線7を使ってシール・切断する場合1
度に2つのシール部6ができかつ加熱されてない鉄線の
位置によりシール部の面積を変化させられるが、シール
する際切断用の鉄線が加熱されたりリボンヒーターの位
置内にあるためシールした状態の鉄線の位置でフィルム
を切断することが材質によってはしにく〈問題があった
。このように従来からあるィンパルスシール・切断方法
はそれぞれ問題があるため本発明の包装体の製造方法に
おいて用いるィンパルスシールのシーラー構成は従来の
ソーラーの欠点を除いたものであって、このシーラーを
用いて本発明の包装体を製造する方法について述べる。
本発明の包装体を作るのに用いられる材質は2軸延伸さ
れかつボイル殺菌可能な複合フィルムであって、その構
成例としてはNy/EVAけん化物/アィオノマ−、ア
ィオノマー/EVAけん化物/アィオノマ−、アイオノ
マー/PVDC/アイオノマー、EVA/EVAけん化
物/Ny/PP、アイオノマーノEVAけん化物/Ny
/PP等よりなり2軸延伸された複合フィルムでこれら
のフィルムを用いて作られた袋内に内容物を充填後真空
包装機の真空チャンバー内に移動させ、真空チャンバー
内にあるフィルム冷却用ラジェターを付けた圧看板8に
面状シール9のできるリボンヒーター1と線状シール5
と切断できる丸線ヒーター4をそなえたシーラーを用い
て前述のフィルムのアィオノマーやEVA面をシール面
とし、耐熱ゴムを上部に有するシール台10上に乗せ、
次に圧看板を下方に移動させ該フィルムをシール台との
間で圧着してフィルムクランプ11がある場合このクラ
ンプでない場合真空チャンバーの外側においてクランプ
して所定時間通電後1〜2秒位加圧状態にて面状シール
9と線状シール6を行った状態でクランプしたフィルム
押え治具12により押圧するか又は手でクランプした場
合談フィルムを引っ張ることにより線状ヒーターのきわ
の部分から該フィルムを切断することにより真空チャン
バー内でィンパルスシールされ密封状態となった包装体
を得ることができる。このシール方法で得られた包装体
のシール部分は第8図のように面シールされた部分9と
線状シールされた部分5の間隔がきわめて狭いためつま
り非シール部13がきわめて狭いため包装体を熱水例え
ば85〜95qoの熱水中に数分浸債することによりシ
ール部と非シール部が収縮しシール部が非常に狭い状態
で内容物とぴったりと密着した状態の包装体が得られる
ため非常に見ばえのする包装体となる。このように本発
明の方法によって得られた包装体は2軸延伸されボイル
殺菌可能な構成の複合フィルムによる袋の閉口部を真空
包装機の真空チャンバー内に同一圧看板にリボンヒータ
ーと丸線ヒーターを備えたィンパルスシーラーによりシ
ールし、該フィルムを押圧又は引っ張ることにより丸線
ヒーターのきわで切断して得られた包装体のためこの包
装体をボイル殺菌した場合非シール部がほとんどない状
態でかつシール部が狭い状態で内容物と密着した包装体
であるので見ばえが良いと共に内容物そのものに近い包
装状態となり非常に省資源の包装体を得ることのできる
製造方法である。
