なる光コネクタにおいて、前記プラグの本体或いは前記
レセプタクルの本体を矩形の筒状に形成し、前記本体の
任意の二つの側面に前記光ケーブルの長手方向に沿った
あたり溝をそれぞれ設け、このあり溝の底面の一部を前
記長手方向に沿って複数箇所切り欠いて前記光ケーブル
の径方向に弾性変形し得る板ばね部を形成すると共にこ
の板ばね部の先端側に係止爪を突設する一方、前記本体
の残りの二つの側面に前記あり溝と対応した形状を有し
且つ他の前記本体に形成されたあり溝が嵌合し得るあり
を突設し、更にこのありに前記係止爪と対応した形状を
有し且つ前記能の本体の板ばね部に形成された係止爪が
