Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent black lines in the early stage of copying and staining of a platen by inhibiting copying action even after power is supplied and when copying paper is not loaded and till copying is actually made. CONSTITUTION:The light emitted from an illumination lamp 10 illuminates an original 2, its reflected light is read through a window 5 with an image sensor 7, and it is copied in succession on the copying paper 3 in a recording section. A copying circuit is not actuated only by turning on a power supply, and when a copying machine 1 is moved on an original 2 in the direction A, and the paper 3 is pulled out in the direction B, since the copying circuit is actuated by the detection of a detector 13, unnecessary black line record can be prevented in the early stage of copying. When the paper 3 is not loaded in the copying machine 1, the detector 13 is not actuated, and since recording is not executed, the platen can be prevented from being damaged and stained.

The above is the configuration of a conventional copying machine, and the operation method thereof will be explained next. First, place the main body 1 on top of the original 2, hold the starting edge 4 of the roll-shaped copy paper 3 on top of the original 2 with your hand, fix it, turn on the power switch 11, and place the copy paper 3 on the main body. While pulling out the main body 1 in the direction of the arrow B outside the main body 1, the main body 1 is moved in parallel in the direction of the arrow.

At this time, the light from the illumination 10 illuminates the original 2, and the reflected light is imaged from the window 5 through the lens 6 onto the one-dimensional image sensor 7 and read. , an inkjet printer, etc.), and the copied copy paper 3 exits the main body 1 in the direction of arrow B. By holding and fixing the paper to the original 2 by hand and moving the main body 1 in parallel in the direction of the arrow A, the copy paper 3 of a length equal to the moving distance of the main body 1 in the input direction is fed out in the direction of the arrow B, and the paper 3 is fed out in the direction of the arrow B. It is now possible to synchronize. With the above operations, the original 2

However, with the above configuration, it is easy to make mistakes in the copying operation procedure when copying is started, which often causes unexpected troubles. That is, the correct procedure for starting copying is to first place the main body 1 on top of the original 2, then turn on the power switch 11, fix the leading edge 4 of the copy paper 3 to the original 2 with one hand, and then put the copying machine out of service. However, in conventional configurations, the power switch 11 is first turned on, and then the copying machine 1 is placed on the original 2 to make copies.

If the operation is performed in the wrong manner as described above, the copying machine's circuit will start working immediately after the power is turned on, but since the document 2 is not yet in close contact with the window 6, the light emitted from the 1° illumination The light hit the original 2 and was not reflected, so that no light reached the image sensor. If light does not reach the image sensor 7 in this way, the control unit will determine that it is a black document, and as a result, the erroneous data read by the image sensor 7 immediately after the power is turned on will be recorded sequentially. Copy paper 3 is sent to section 8 and is not fed.'
! ! : Well, black color was recorded on copy paper 3. As a result, there is a problem in that unnecessary black lines are recorded at the beginning of the copied paper.

In addition to the above-mentioned troubles, even when the copy paper 3 is not loaded, the recording unit 8 records unnecessary data read by the image sensor 7 on the platen 9, so Purpose of the Invention The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems of the conventional art, and the copying machine performs the copying operation until the original is actually copied after the power is turned on. The purpose of this is to prevent unnecessary black lines from being recorded at the beginning of copy paper.

Structure of the Invention The present invention provides a -dimensional image sensor and a line 6 ・\
In a copying machine that has a -7-shaped recording section and has the function of copying while moving over the document surface, the paper feed of the copy paper is detected using the tension of the paper when the copy paper is fed. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a copying machine that is equipped with a type of detector that inhibits the recording section from copying when copy paper is not being fed.

The original 2, the copy paper 3, the starting edge 4, the window 6, the lens 6, the image sensor 7, the recording section 8, and the platen 9 have the same structure as the conventional example shown in FIG. 1, and therefore their explanation will be omitted. What is different from the conventional example shown in FIG. 1 is the detection of a microswitch, etc. that detects the feeding of the copy paper 3 between the recording section 8 of the copy paper 3 and the discharge section 12 of the copy paper 3 outside the copying machine. The circuit is configured such that a detector 13 is provided, and if the detector 13 does not detect the feeding of the copy paper 3, no copying is performed.

Regarding the black line at the beginning of the copy paper 3 that occurred when the copying machine 1 was placed on the original 2 after turning on the power switch 11 and copying, which was a problem in the conventional example, the configuration of this embodiment Therefore, the copying circuit does not work just by turning on the power switch 11, and the copying machine 1 is placed over the original and the main body 1 is moved in the direction of arrow B, and the copy paper 3 begins to be fed in the direction of arrow B. The detector 13 was activated and the copying circuit started working, making it possible to make beautiful copies without black lines.

In addition to the effects of the invention, the present invention includes a detector that detects whether copy paper is not being fed, and a control circuit that prohibits the recording section from performing a copying operation when copy paper is not being fed. This prevents unnecessary black lines from being recorded at the beginning of the copy paper, and also prevents the platen from being scratched or soiled, making it an excellent, reliable copier with improved copy quality. It is possible to realize this.
