Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は肯特に武器用の管に関し、内面に硬い月別の薄
い層を設けて摩耗と腐蝕を防き゛摩擦を減少させた管に
関する。
従来の技術 真空#着層の耐着性と耐摩耗性ケ良くするために、種々
の方法が提案された。例えは多くの基材上にカソードス
パッタによって被着した層は通常の蒸冶による層よりは
耐着性が良い。更に新しい方法はイオン媒介蒸漕を第1
」川でき、高い耐着性を得られる。
しかし、これらの既知の手法は膨張の強い多数回の作用
、例えば武器用管の場合の射撃の作用を受けた時に層は
耐えられない3、 被層内面を有する管は各種の目的に使用され、各種の被
層方法が行なばれる。例えは、−着(DE−O8284

武器用管の記述は少ない。例えはカン−トスバッタと組
合せたドイツ特許DE−PS 3150591号、及び
DE−PS2537623号、DE−As21:I[J
97[J9号かある。
武器用管の内層に硬い材料を設けることは耐摩耗性、耐
腐蝕性を良くシ、岸擦を減少し得るため有効である。し
かし、現在までは、この目的の十分な内層は知られてい
ない。この理由は硬い層の剛着強度が不十分であり、現
在使用される拡散法では内方限界面に到達しない問題が
ある。
ドイツ特許DE−AS 2809709 号には熱スプ
レー法によってコア十に施した厚い、約1.6鴎のセラ
ミック層を記載し、管の収縮によって管に保持される。
厚い層は自然に高い自己強度を有し、基体十〇耐着性の
すべてではなく、薄い智、10ミクロン以下の場合と同
一ではない。スプレー法によって製造した管がセラミッ
ク管を挿入した場合より本質的に優れているかどうかは
不明である。
発明が解決しようとする問題点 本発明は内面に被着した層を有する管を提供し、管内面
と高圧に基つく膨張を生じた時及び使用間に高温度を受
けた時に剥離しないようにする。
本発明による内面に管に比較して硬い材料の被着層を有
する管は、層は所定被着温度で面積を少なくともΔ’/
F−IX1(J−3だけ圧縮する。
こ\にFは楡の面積であり、ΔP゛は楡が圧縮によって
綿小した面積でるる。ΔF/、=10−3によって、層
の面が0.1%縮小したことを示す。
作用 篤くべきことに、管内面に形成し圧縮した層は、層が同
じ材料の場合でも密着を保つが、同様の方法で被着し、
被着量圧縮を行なはない層は後の膨張作用で簡単r(剥
離する。設計上生じた溝は摩際応力、例えば武器用管の
射撃に対し層の耐着性は著しく減少するとみなし得る。
層の所要の圧縮を定めるのは、後の使用による膨張に際
しての管の変形寸法である。層の圧縮の割合は使用間に
生ずる膨張の割合に少なくとも等しいか、好適にはある
程度大とし、檄の過膨張に際して亀裂の生ずるのを防ぐ
武器用管の各種の薄い硬い材料の内層を設けたものの射
撃実験においては、層が751T安の大きな圧縮応力を
受け、層か上述の通り面が少なくとも△””/F=’/
□000 圧縮された時に良好な耐摩耗性を得た。これ
は現在までの摩耗実験の結果、即ち、薄い層は小さな応
力の場合に高い耐着性を示すとの結果とは反対である。
この結果からの結論は、層の耐着性は制限関数ではなく
、本発明によって本質的に改良された。
本発明は、被着すべき層自体は所要の靭性を有せず、僅
な過膨張によって剥離する場合にも好適に適用できる。
実施例 本発明による管の射撃試験によって得た実験結果を次の
代表模型と共に示す。PITH値以上に圧縮した層は射
撃とこれに伴なう管の膨張に際して伸ひの影響は少なく
、圧縮によって生じた圧縮応力か減少しだ。上述の過渡
的の心力減少によって、射撃間の層の耐着性は良くなっ
た。層には破損及び亀裂は圧縮応力下では生じなかった

種の方法がある。管に比較して層材料か小さい温度膨張
系数である場合は、高温による層の圧縮は次の式によっ
て得られる。

るが何れも本発明の記載する十分な圧縮値には達してい
ない。管は層被着間は高温の鋼硬度が失はれる温度には
加熱しない。被着間の温度ははソ焼戻温度即ち例えば5
50℃とする。射撃に際して管は再び加熱層が被着間の
@度に近い温度に達する。同時に射撃による過圧は管の
膨張を生じ、前述の通り圧縮応力を減少し、この圧縮応
力が層の亀裂を防ぐ。
近年他の真空被着法が開発され、エネルギーの大きなイ
オンによる層材料の強い圧縮が得られる。

には、既知の方法と、管内面被着装置を利用する。管内
壁の処理装置として高温度高イオン衝撃下での被着に好
適な装置はスイス特許願2544/83に記載されてい
る。
例えば、管内壁に窒化チタン、炭化チタン、硼化チタン
、炭化タングステンの層を被着する。一般に周期律の4
〜6群の混合金属の硅化物、炭化物、窒化物が好適であ
る。
本発明による管内に層を被着するためには良い剛着性を
得るだめの既知の補助装置を利用する5例えば、管内壁
の良い予備清掃、加熱又は電子ボンバードによる予備脱
ガス、カソード腐蝕による表面層の中間侵蝕、層板眉間
の被着すべき而に対する電気的予応力の作用等がある。
層圧絹の測定は次の方法によって行なう。
(1)剛性の探針本体に第1にタロムrwt施し、その
厚さは次に被着すべき硬質材料層の厚さよりや\厚くす
る。被着した探針本体を合成樹脂内に埋込み研削して層
断面か見えるようにする。研削物を50秒間18%の塩
酸で処理し、クロム層を溶出する。顕微鏡下ではクロム
層の位置は掘込みとして示され、この中に溶解した硬質
材料層が波状に延長する。正弦状の層の研磨縁の波の撮
巾と長さから線状圧縮△t/lを測定する。面の圧縮は
2倍の値ΔF7F=== 26t/l である。間隙が
過度に薄く、完全な層の取出が不可能な圧縮値を過小に
得ることがある。本発明による圧縮は △/F=0.001 より大である必要があり、この条
件下で必らず達成する必要がある。
(2)被着した探針本体を両対向端でクランプし、力を
作用して緩やかに引張り硬質材料層を剥離させる。次に
例えば顕微鏡又はマイクロポンを取付け、所要の伸び△
/lを測定する。硬質材料層は鋼よりも本質的に脆いた
め、僅かな伸びによって破損する。測定した伸ひは硬質
材料層の圧縮にelは等しい、又は僅に大きい値である
(3)層を被着した探針本体に硬質材料層のW度をビッ
カース試験機で各椎負荷で測定する。この場合に、ダイ
アモンドは負荷p>oで可視の小さな凹みを残す。この
凹みの対角線aを負荷Pの関数として曲線が得られ、d
2−0 に対して正の最終値P′が得られろ。この測定
(lIIP′と層圧綱領の相関は(11、(2+で記し
た測定法を使用して定めることができる。
発明の効果 肯例えば武器用の管に硬質材料層を内面被覆した場合、
面ケ少なくとも△”/、=0.001圧縮する。
射撃等の内圧作用に耐え、被覆層の剥離を生じない管が
得られる。

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 管内面に管より硬い材料の層を被着したものにおい
    て、層は所定被着温度で面の面積比で少なくともΔF/
    F−1×1U 以上圧縮することを特徴とする内面層を
    1する管。 2 前駆層は管の製造に使用した銅の焼戻温度で面の面
    積比で少なくとも△”/F= I Xl u−3圧縮す
    ゐことを特徴とする特許d肯求の範囲第1項記載の管。
