Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable stabilization of surface soil quality of a ground for a building, by a method wherein a hole is bored deep to lower than the under surface of a foundation, expandable cement is poured in the hole up to a level about equal to that of the under surface of the foundation, and the hollow hole part, above the poured part, of the bored hole is backfilled. CONSTITUTION:Holes 3, each bored down to lower than the under surface of a foundation 2, are bored in juxataposition with each other, expandable cement 4 is poured in the bored holes 3, and is placed such that the upper end of a poured part 5 is located in a level about equal to that of the lower end of a pit excavation with a depth H. After the poured part 5 is formed, a hollow hole part 6, above the poured part 5, of the bored hole 2 is backfilled with soil A excavated for formation of the hole. The expansible cement 4 is expanded in a barrel during curing, and soil B between the poured parts 5 is consolidated to form the poured parts integrally with each other.
