Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance receptivity to water base inks, by a method wherein a transparent hydrophilic coat layer consisting of a water-soluble high molecular weight substance is laminated on one side or both sides of a transparent base film layer consisting of a synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:The film 1 comprises the transparent hydrophilic coat layer 3 on one side or both sides of the transparent base film layer 2. Therefore, when characters, a picture or the like is drawn on the coat layer 3 by using water base inks, the inks are favorably received by the hydrophilic coat layer 3, and are dried rapidly, so that scaling off of the inks due to abrasion or the like is prevented from occurring after drying. Where the coat layer 3 is provided on both sides of the base film layer 2, the film 1 is less likely to curl, as compared with the case where the coat layer 3 is provided only on one side of the layer 2. The film layer 2 is preferably constituted of a polyester. Polyvinyl alcohol may be suitably used as a material for the hydrophilic coat layer.

The present invention relates to a film for overhead projectors. In recent years, with advances in copying technology, it has become common practice to directly form an image -1- on a plastic film instead of paper using a copying machine, and to enlarge and project the image using an overhead projector. It has also been proposed to directly draw the output from a computer onto a plastic film using an inkjet printer and project it using an overhead projector, and examples of using plastic film as a film for overhead projectors are increasing. Films for overhead projectors generally have the following properties: 1) to be able to easily accept ink and dry the ink quickly, 2) to be free of foreign matter, 2) to have no uneven coating, and 5) to have excellent transparency. ■No fingerprints are visible or remain,■High side Li! IIIi Characteristics such as no blocking occurring when wet are required. However, conventional films for overhead projectors are usually made of heavy polyethylene terephthalate film or polyethylene terephthalate film coated with a matting agent such as silicon dioxide, but these are difficult to accept water-based ink. Therefore, even if a water-based ink is used, it does not dry within one print, and even if a water-based ink is used for two prints, it is easily erased by rubbing. Oil-based inks are used exclusively for overhead projector films, and water-based inks are usually used to form prints on computer output, which makes it difficult to write computer output directly onto conventional film. The present invention was made in view of the above circumstances, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a film for an A-bar head projector that has good receptivity to water-based ink and that uses water-based ink. That is, in order to achieve the above object, the present invention has a transparent hydrophilic coating layer made of a water-soluble polymer material laminated on at least one side of a transparent base film layer made of a synthetic resin, According to the present invention, even when writing or drawing with water-based ink on this hydrophilic coating layer, the ink is reliably received, has quick drying properties, and the display area of the water-based ink does not rub off when drying well. The present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings. In Figs. 1 to 3, reference numeral 1 denotes an overhead projector according to an embodiment of the present invention. - Figure 1 shows a transparent base film ll!!2 coated with a transparent hydrophilic film!lI3 on one side.

A base film 1 such as the film 1 shown in FIGS.
When the hydrophilic coating layer 3 is formed on the bottom surface of the ink 12, it is also possible to use the surface on which the hydrophilic coating layer 3 is formed for water-based ink and the other surface for oil-based ink. Further, as in the film 1 shown in FIG. 2, a base film layer 20
When the hydrophilic coating H3 is formed on both sides, the film 1 is less likely to curl than when it is formed only on one side. In the film for overhead projector of the present invention, the material of the transparent film layer 2 is not particularly limited, but the above-mentioned polyester, polycarbonate, acrylic resin, etc. can be suitably used, and among them, polyester is preferably used. Note that the thickness of the base film layer is not particularly limited, but is usually 50 to 1,507,111 mm.
It is preferable that In this case, the base film layer is 1
11! The structure is not limited, and it can be a multilayer structure in which multiple layers are laminated. -5- Further, as the material for the transparent hydrophilic liquid I1 layer, a water-soluble polymer substance such as a synthetic water-soluble polymer substance, a semi-synthetic water-soluble polymer substance, a natural water-soluble polymer substance, etc. is used. Specifically, polyvinyl alcohol. Vinyl water-soluble polymer substances such as polyvinyl methyl ether, vinyl methyl ether/maleic anhydride copolymer, polyvinylpyrrolidone, acrylic water-soluble polymer substances such as polyacrylic acid resin, polyacrylamide resin, methyl cellulose, ethyl cellulose - Soot-based water-soluble molecular substances, other synthetic water-soluble polymer substances such as polyethylene oxide and polyethylene imine, soluble starch, processed or modified starches such as cationic starch, corn starch, wheat starch, rice starch, potato starch, and sweet potato. Raw starches such as starch, gum arabic. Plant-based natural water-soluble polymer substances such as tragacan 1~gum, 111% type such as sodium alginate, funori, agar, etc., animal-based natural water-soluble + II polymer substances such as glue, gelatin, and car-6-zein. One kind or Let 21 or more selected from the following may be used, and vinyl and N-string water-soluble polymeric substances, particularly polyvinyl alcohol and polyvinylpyrrolidone, are preferably used. Although the thickness of the hydrophilic film layer is not necessarily limited, it is usually preferable to use 1~:'S OHm.
: There may be some problems. Although there are no limitations on the method for producing the film for A-Barheradob[]]dictor of the present invention, for example, it may be produced by applying a solution of the water-soluble polymer substance to the base film layer and drying it. Obtain (in the case of Figure 1゜2). In this case, the method for applying the water-soluble polymer substance solution is Mayer coating. Gravure: Conventional coating methods such as coating, roll coating, reverse coating, kiss roll coating, etc. can be employed. The coating of the water-soluble polymeric substance solution is not particularly limited, but it should be applied so that the mounds of the hydrophilic coating layer when drying are 1 to 307/m', especially 3 to 159/m'. It is preferable. Further, the film for an overhead projector of the present invention can also be improved by adhering a film of a water-soluble polymer substance to the base film layer (as shown in FIG. 3). In this case, the adhesive and bonding method used are not particularly limited, and commonly used adhesives and bonding methods may be used. Here, the thickness of the water-soluble polymer film to be adhered is not necessarily limited, but it is usually preferably 10 to 50 .mu.m. In addition, when producing the film of the present invention by the method described in 1, the surface on which the hydrophilic film layer of the base film layer is to be laminated can be previously subjected to an anchor coat treatment or a corona discharge treatment, whereby the base film layer is laminated. The adhesion between the material film layer and the hydrophilic coating layer can be adjusted to clay. Further, the hydrophilic coating layer contains isocyanate. Water-resistant agents such as glyoxal, pine such as silicon dioxide]
It is possible to appropriately incorporate auxiliary agents such as antistatic agents, cationic surfactants, and cationic surfactants, thereby producing films for overhead projectors with superior properties such as ink receptivity and antistatic properties. Obtainable. -F As mentioned above, the A-bar head projector film of the present invention has a transparent hydrophilic coating layer made of a water-soluble polymer substance on at least one side of a transparent base film layer made of a synthetic resin. As a result, it has good receptivity to water-based inks and can be used favorably with water-based inks, and can be effectively used in devices using inkjet printers. Next, examples will be shown to specifically explain the present invention. [Example 1] A 10% aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol was applied to both sides of a polyester film having a thickness of 75/1l using a Meyer bar for 50S? The present invention film-9- I got it. The performance of the resulting film was that it accepted water-based ink, dried approximately 60 seconds after acceptance, and did not shed the ink when tested by fingertip friction. Furthermore, the visible light transmittance specified in JIS-K 6714 is 9.
It had a high transparency of 0% or more, and was sufficiently durable for use as a film for an overhead projector.
