Abstract

PURPOSE:To economically detect the rest amount of an electric wire from the significant difference of the surface reflection rate between the electric wire and a winding trunk by irradiating the irradiating light through a hood hole towards the surface processing means part installed onto the winding trunk of a bobbin, and receiving the reflected light. CONSTITUTION:Onto a bobbin winding trunk 1, a surface processing means 3 which consists of a white adhesive tape, etc. and increases the difference of the surface reflection rate between an electric wire and the bobbin winding trunk 1 is installed. In the bobbin collar part 6, a position indicating means 7 for indicating the position where the means 3 is installed on the same normal L to the surface processing means 3 is installed. Onto the side surface of a hood 11, a hole 12 is formed at the height corresponding to the height of the surface processing means 3 is formed. An irradiating light source 13 and a reflected-light receiving device 14 are arranged in close to the hole 12, and the irradiating light 4 is irradiated through the hole 12 onto a part of the surface processing means 3 of the bobbin on which the electric wire is wound, and the reflected light 5 is received. Therefore, the amount of the reflected light 5 supplied from the surface processing means 3 increases as the rest amount of the electric wire reduces.

(Prior Art and its Problems) For example, electric windings for magnet coils, motors, etc. are manufactured by winding electric wires around iron cores, for example. At this time, the wire is drawn out from the supply bobbin and wound continuously around the iron core. Alternatively, a wire twisting machine or a twisting machine pulls out the wire from a supply bobbin wrapped with bare wire and twists it together.
The twisted wires are wound onto a winding bobbin.

In such a case, when the wire wound around the supply bobbin runs out, it is replaced with the next bobbin to replenish the supply of wire. If the time for replenishing the electric wire is lost, the end of the electric wire will become entangled, making it impossible to connect to the next electric wire, resulting in trouble, significantly reducing work efficiency, or resulting in a defective product.

For this reason, various methods have been devised to detect the remaining amount of wire, one of which is the bobbin winding drum (1) as shown in Figure 1.
) The surface reflectance of the electric wire (2) and the bobbin winding body (1) exposed from below the electric wire was measured using a bobbin whose entire surface was covered with foil (6') or painted with paint (3). There is a method of detecting the presence or absence of an electric wire based on a significant difference in the amount of reflected light (5) due to the difference in (for example, see Japanese Patent Publication No. 38-1.1 S70 and Utility Model Application No. 58-46180). That is, the method of detecting the remaining amount of electric wire wound on a bobbin according to the present invention is when the bobbin with the electric wire wound thereon is covered with a hood and the electric wire is pulled out and used. Using a surface treatment means applied to a part of the circumference of the winding drum or around the circumference of the winding drum at a predetermined height to increase the difference in surface reflectance between the electric wire and the winding drum of the bobbin, The method uses a device with a hole provided at a predetermined location, and irradiates the irradiated light through the hole in the hood toward the surface treatment means part of the bobbin winding drum, and receives the reflected light to measure the surface reflectance of the wire and the bobbin winding drum. This method is characterized in that the remaining amount of wire wound on the bobbin can be determined based on the significant difference in the amount of wire wound on the bobbin.

According to the above, the present invention is simple and economical by making it possible to detect the surface through the hood hole and by providing the surface treatment means only at a predetermined height corresponding to the width of the bobbin winding drum.

In FIG. 4, the surface treatment means (3) is applied to a portion of the circumference of the winding drum of the bobbin. Therefore, a position display means (7) is provided in order to know the position of the surface treatment means (6) even when the electric wire is wound around the bobbin winding drum. This position indicating means (force may also be a pasting piece, paint, etc.).

In the method of the present invention, the irradiation light source (13) and the reflected light receiver (1) are placed in the side hole (12) of the hood (11).
4), and directs the irradiation light (4) through this hole toward the part of the bobbin around which the electric wire is wound as shown in FIG. 4.5 inside the hood, where the surface treatment means is located. (4) and receives the reflected light (5).

In such cases, when the amount of wire wound on the bobbin decreases, the amount of light reflected from the surface treatment means applied to the bobbin winding drum exposed from below the wire increases or decreases.Due to the significant difference in the amount of reflected light, the wire You can know when the remaining amount is low.

In addition, in ``2'', the predetermined location where the hole is provided in the hood should preferably correspond to the predetermined height of the surface treatment means of the bobbin. If the light is input horizontally, the reflected light can also be detected using the same hole, so only one hole is needed (even if the parallelism is slightly off due to the hole diameter, it can be covered). However, there is no problem in entering the incident light from diagonally above (or diagonally below) and providing a hole in the incident light hole AJ for detecting the reflected light.

Moreover, since the application of foil, tape, etc. to the bobbin winding drum, or the application of paint, etc., is not applied to the entire bobbin winding drum, surface treatment means can be easily applied (of course, it is possible to easily apply surface treatment methods such as changing the pasting in case of damage, or removing reflected light. It is also easy and economical to change the pasting when you want to increase or decrease the amount.
