  1. 平板胛材と、山部および谷部を有する波板胛材とを重ね
    合せたものを巻層しその一方端面の波板胛材の山部およ
    び他方端面から所定長さのところの波板１戸材の谷部と
    を充填シールし、一方が閉塞し他方が開放する多数の細
    長流路を形成して成るハニカム型フィルタエレメントに
    おいて、充填シールされた谷部と他方端面との間の外径
    を充填シールされた谷部と一方端面との間の外径より小
    とした構造を特徴とするハニカノ、型フィルタエレメン
    ト。
