Conventionally, as a manufacturing method for this decorative molding 3, metal foil 1
However, immediately after extrusion, the base material sag to the metal foil exposed portion la side, making it difficult to stably and neatly form the exposed portion partition wall surface 2b. Molding the metal foil 1 by bringing it into direct contact with the die of an extrusion molding machine has the problem of abrasion of the die and damage to the surface of the metal foil 1.

Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2, along with the base 2, the metal foil 1
Protected portion 4 is made of the same material as the base 2 on the upper surface of the exposed portion la.
There is a known technique in which a notch 5 is formed at the boundary with the base body 2 using a die, and after the insert extrusion molding is performed, the protective covering part 4 is removed and molded. However, even in the case of the above method, the protective coating 4 continues to sag slightly toward the notch 5 side, and the die shape becomes complicated due to the formation of the notch 5, and furthermore, the protective coating 4 is removed. When removed, the cut surface tends to become jagged, making it difficult to stably and neatly form the wall surface of the exposed section.

The gist of the present invention is that when manufacturing a decorative molding in which a part of metal foil is exposed, the protective coating part on the upper surface of the exposed part is made of a polymeric material that does not adhere to the base body or the metal foil. The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a decorative molding in which a metal foil is inserted in a substantially planar or protruding state, and after two-color extrusion molding, a protective coating is removed from a base body to expose the metal foil. Hereinafter, the method of the present invention will be explained based on illustrated examples. As shown in FIG. 4, the base material A - a polymeric material that can usually be bonded to the metal foil 1 - is fed from the first extruder 6, and the protective coating material B - a polymeric material that does not adhere to the base 2 and the metal foil 1. - is supplied from the second extruder 7 to channels 10 and 11 formed by the outer wall of the torpedo 8 and the inner wall of the head 9, and the metal is extruded from the center of the torpedo 8 in front of the torpedo 8 and just before the die 12. The foil 1 is coated with the base material A and the protective coating material B at the same time, and the die 12 has a cross-sectional shape as shown in FIG. Now, a two-color extrusion molding is carried out on the decorative molding 3A that is flush with the surface.

When the protective covering part 4 is removed from the base body 2 of this two-color extruded diamond molding 3A, a decorative molding 3 with a metal foil 1 exposed as shown in FIG. 1 is molded. At this time, since a material that does not adhere to the base 2 and the metal foil 1 is used as the material for the protective coating, and the base 2 and the protective coating 4 are flush with each other, immediately after extrusion, the base material is exposed to the exposed part la side. The protective covering portion 4 prevents sagging.

Therefore, when the protective covering part 4 is removed, a beautiful exposed part partition wall surface 2b is formed. Note that removing the protective covering part 4 from the base body 2 may be difficult due to differences in thermal shrinkage of materials depending on the combination of materials, etc., as shown in FIG.
The protective covering part 4 may droop down and become unnecessary, or even if it is not unnecessary, the protective covering part 4 can be peeled off from the base body 2 very easily. Here, the base material A that can be bonded to the metal foil is acrylonitrile ptadiene styrene (ABS) or acrylic that can be bonded to the metal foil 1 such as stainless steel or aluminum. Nitrilestyrene (AS), vinyl chloride (PVC)
), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), polystyrene (R
), methyl methacrylate (MMA), nylon, polyacetal, polycarbonate, cellulosic, etc., are preferred, although rubber materials can also be used. Note that if an adhesive is applied to the back surface of the metal foil 1, the base material A may be one that does not adhere to the metal foil, and a wide range of materials can be used. Examples of the protective coating material B include olefin plastics such as polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), which have poor compatibility with the base material A and are non-adhesive and hard to adhere to the metal foil 1.

FIG. 5 shows another embodiment of the method of the invention, in which the first extruder 6 is connected to the head 9, the second extruder 7 is connected to the die 12, and the center of the torpedo 8 is connected to the die 12. The metal foil 1' extruded from the die 12 is coated with the base material A, and the protective coating material B is coated with the metal foil 1' from the die 12 so that the protective coating part is approximately on the surface or protrudes from below with respect to the base material. A decorative molding 3A as shown in FIG. 3 is formed by two-color extrusion molding. In this two-color extruded decorative molding 3A, when the protective covering portion 4 is removed from the base body 2, a decorative molding 3 with exposed metal foil as shown in FIG. 1 is formed.
In this case as well, the exposed section wall surface 2b is similar to the above embodiment.
is neatly formed, and removal of the protective coating 4 from the base body 2 is not necessary or can be done very easily. Further, the base material A and the protective coating material B used may be the same as those in the above-mentioned embodiments. As described above, in the method for manufacturing a decorative molding of the present invention, immediately after extrusion, the base material is prevented from sagging toward the exposed metal foil side by the protective coating, and the wall surface of the exposed section of the base is kept clean and stable. can be formed into
