Abstract

PURPOSE:To heighten separation efficiency in an oil separator, by partitioning a main casing into a high-pressure part and a low-pressure part, and forming the high-pressure part in a lower part of the main casing while the oil separator and an oil tank part in the high-pressure part, respectively. CONSTITUTION:This screw compressor partitions the lower part of a main casing 4 into both low and high pressure side parts, while an oil tank 8 is formed in the high-pressure side, and thereby the oil separated by a demister 6 is made so as to be collected in the said oil tank, not in the lower part of an oil separator 5. Accordingly, an effective passing area of the demister limited by oil accumulation due to discharge gas is yet more increased, thus oil separating efficiency is improved.

成する空間の体積、変化により高圧ガスとなる。この際
、ロータの潤滑および冷却のため、多量の油を噴射する
。したがって高圧ガスの中には、多量の油が含まれる。

が形成できない。このため、この減少分だけ大きいオイ
ルセパレータを設ける必要があり、コンパクトで、高性
能なオイルセパレータを有するスクリュー圧縮機が得ら
れない欠点を有する。
